I opted for grilled chicken instead of breaded and had a small fry to stay within my macros and sugar-free lemonade.
Glad it was a beautiful day to be outside.
The lady at the drive thru took my order and after I asked to sub the protein for my market salad she spoke to her supervisor Steven over the headset and he told her to tell me that “they don’t do that” and I can’t get what has been offered to me before and is available on the app. It didn’t make sense , had they ran out it would have been one thing, but to ultimately deny me an option to sub a protein after doing it multiple times is unacceptable. I told them I wanted to speak to this Steven at the drive thru window to make a complaint and sure enough he magically went on break. Another chic fil an employee agreed with me and said that yes I can sub any protein for my salad so he was just as confused. The rest of the employees are all whispering about what they should do since Steven is on break that I ended up saying just give me my food I’ll take this up with customer support since I I felt bad I was holding up the line.
To say I’m dissatisfied is the least of it, this experience could have been avoided and I hope the operator Josh Young takes this opportunity to educate his staff on what a guest can ask for on a menu item and not deny me just because “we can’t do that”. Hopefully the next time I come it will be different.
Chicken: it was heavily undercooked with raw chicken in the middle.
If you want to wait 10 minutes for a chance at food poisoning then this is your place. I think workers here stopped caring.
Update: 07/31/2020 They even offered me a cup of water for free while waiting for the food on this hot summer day of 07/31/2020 . What an amazing service you guys. #MOODY360TV
