At first sight from the outside of the building one might just keep driving due to its appearance. A bit run down and decor must have been a second thought. But if you drive right by you would be missing out on a nice clean simple Latin/Mexican cuisine experience. We received a generous portion of homemade fresh and warm chips with some delicious salsa.

If you like authentic Central American food (not Mexican) then you will be very pleased to dine at El Nopal. They serve many types of pupilas and both types of Tamales win corn husk or banana leaf! Sweet plantains and my favorite today was the Caldo de Gallina, which is only served on Friday and Saturday—wow! The street tacos are legit and the service is friendly and efficient—give them a try!! Te amo El Nopal!! @kimyarla

This place has the best steak fajitas! They have a pretty good sized menu. I have had several items on their menu. All very tasty.

Really good food, salsa was amazing, the burrito was one of the best ive ever had. There were no problems with the service. The furniture seemed cheap.

The place was clean, the people were very friendly and attentive. Their bean burrito was good, I liked their chips even though they tasted like they were mixed in with stale chips. Their salsa was very watery, and not much taste, so I asked for something spicier and wow, it wasn’t, but they charged me for a tiny amount to try!

It’s a hole in the wall, but it’s worth trying it. It’s small but very good. I had the wet burrito with beef tongue, lettuce, and mators topped with melted cheese. Portion was bigger than I expected , and I ended up taking half of it home (and I’m a big guy). The wife had the chlie relleno topped with red sauce, which she said it was better than other well-known restaurants. There was only one waitress, so the service was a little slow but not too bad. The only issue was that someone brought their 2-year-old, and her screaming or shreaking was too loud for such a small place. I noticed some breakfast type items and take out available. Which I might choose, lol. We visited on a Thursday early evening, but business was picking up

My partner and I always get street tacos and a wet burrito and half them because it is so big! We eat lunch here about 3 times a month. It is delicious!

I eat here often—stopping on my way to and from Tulsa. The guacamole and pico are great and their salsa is good too. They also make a small side of hot salsa on some dishes.

Fresh made food that wasn’t covered or soaked in grease. It lacked any real spices, but it still had an excellent taste and was made very well. Definitely a hidden gem that I kept passing by judging the exterior!
