First time stopping in! Authentic tasting, not busy at all. I ordered chicken fajitas good amount of meat and tasted delicious. Fresh flour tortillas, mm. My husband had the wet burrito and liked it with half chicken and half steak. Beans and rice were good too. The salsa was the best I’ve ever had not too spicy just right!

The waitress was friendly and kind. Bathroom was clean.

Would come back! Prices were good too not overly priced.

Very good food. Cheese enchiladas were really good. My mail was literally under $11.

The ladies who serve the tables are very rude and their answers are dry and short. They don’t make you feel welcome, it’s a shame bc the food is good but the service kill all the vibe

This is one of those places that are worth the drive! I love bringing people to sand springs just to treat them to this little delightful hole in the wall! Always the freshest food and great selection! Prices are great too!
Definitely one of my favorite places!
Again, worth the drive!!

At first sight from the outside of the building one might just keep driving due to its appearance. A bit run down and decor must have been a second thought. But if you drive right by you would be missing out on a nice clean simple Latin/Mexican cuisine experience. We received a generous portion of homemade fresh and warm chips with some delicious salsa.
I’d recommend away from the nachos if you not care for what tasted and looked like Velveeta, because they were covered in it making them almost impossible to eat. Yuck! Couldn’t taste the meat or other toppings.
Street tacos were wonderful and so was the enchiladas.
Loved the drink options as well.
But let’s talk about the fast and prompt service. This young woman was awesome. She was sweet and kind and we hardly turned our heads before our food was on our table all while she ran the register and took orders from others both staying and to go.
I will be back, just not for the nachos.

We visited El Nopal for the first time today with a group of friends. The pupusas were really good. I’d never had them before. There’s a reason this place has such a high rating. We will be back.

I think the servers are racist. I’m Hispanic and when me and my family went there, the ladies who serve the tables treated us very poorly. They weren’t friendly, and they looked upset when they asked to take the order and we weren’t ready. But in tables where white people were seated, they were very bubbly and patient, and even smiling to them. But to us they barely look at our faces. I’ll not come back. Funny note the servers are Hispanic and they look like my nephews. Crazy world.

The place was clean, the people were very friendly and attentive. Their bean burrito was good, I liked their chips even though they tasted like they were mixed in with stale chips. Their salsa was very watery, and not much taste, so I asked for something spicier and wow, it wasn’t, but they charged me for a tiny amount to try!

If you like authentic Central American food (not Mexican) then you will be very pleased to dine at El Nopal. They serve many types of pupilas and both types of Tamales win corn husk or banana leaf! Sweet plantains and my favorite today was the Caldo de Gallina, which is only served on Friday and Saturday—wow! The street tacos are legit and the service is friendly and efficient—give them a try!! Te amo El Nopal!! @kimyarla

Moment my son and I walked in the place everyone was nice and polite, good fast service. Truly loved their food especialy the beef tongue tacos “really jjst melts in your mouth with flavor”.
Strongly suggest to anyone who wants a real meal not some fast food nuclear experiment from other places.
