From the time we walked in Lupitas, we were warmly greeted, and they were nice throughout our visit. The chips were brought warm with 2 kinds of salsa. Hubbs tried the Carne asada burro. I had fry bread with chicken – it had beans, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese! The chicken was really flavorful and the bread was really light and good. We recommend trying the fry bread for sure – so good! Great friendly place! Stop by and enjoy Lupita’s food !

An excellent sit down Mexican restaurant! All fresh ingredients! The chips were great and both salsa’s were delicious. The rice and beans had nice flavor. The kids taco was a little too greasy but my 5yr old still ate everything on the plate. I got a green Chile burro with red sauce enchilada style. The red sauce had a little heat to it. The green Chile wasn’t too sweet and the pork was wonderfully tender.

On my first visit I walked in the door and was immediately welcomed warmly by a man named Abraham as if I’d been a patron for years. I placed a to go order and engaged in pleasant banter while my food was quickly prepared fresh for me to take home and enjoy. He welcomed me to the neighborhood with the most delicious food and invited me to return with the family, which I plan on doing very soon! The meal was absolutely amazing and I only imagine it’s even better eating in the restaurant. This place came highly recommended to me from a friend and I am now highly recommending them to anyone that happens to be in the area (and beyond because, frankly, it’s worth the drive). I hope everyone gets to enjoy a meal and pleasant exchange at this amazing hidden gem of El Mirage.

Went for the first time today and not impressed at all. We sat down and waited about 10-15 minutes for someone to take a drink order, margaritas were super strong. After sitting there for 1 hour, with no other acknowledgment after placing our food order, we got up to leave. Asked how much for the 2 margaritas, no questions were even asked as to why we were leaving, and no offer to discount the drinks, no sorry, no nothing!! Will never go back!!! Only gave 1 star because it’s the only way to post this, they don’t deserve any stars in my book!!!
