We have never eaten at a Mexican buffet and we were very impressed. Huge selection of fresh food. Restaurant was clean and inviting and staff members were constantly checking to see if we needed anything.

We were only in Batesville for a weekend. I googled this place. The food was very good. I’m a vegetarian, so I wanted some spinach enchiladas. Spinach enchiladas were not on the menu but the cook made me spinach enchiladas. The spinach was so fresh and they were delicious. My husband had the steak and shrimp meal. The steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Very friendly and helpful staff and fast service. I would definitely recommend eating here.

El Mariachi offers a unique feature in a Mexican restaurant. They have a buffet full of delicious entrees to choose from. There is something for everyone in the buffet. If you don’t find anything (which I doubt will happen!) they have an extensive menu to order from. Dessert is available in the buffet as well. I enjoyed building my own taco salads and adding additional favorites to my plate.

I’m from Tucson, AZ and have been understandably disappointed in the Mexican food available in Batesville, MS. However, this was very good, authentic food. The guacamole was excellent, the salsa could have been hotter, but still had good flavor, and the fajitas were very good. The service was quick, friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience that I would recommend to anyone.

Lunch on a Monday; Service was immediate, from being seated quickly to getting chips and salsa, and taking our order. I got the mini chimi plate and husband got carnitas, both came promptly and how we ordered/requested. Atmosphere was good and it was clean. I would recommend.

My highest complements! What a find. Driving cross county for vacation and spending the night in Batesville on the way home. The place was busier then normal for a Friday night but the manager got us in within 15 minutes. The place was hopping like a well oiled machine. The staff were super busy but still able to be cordial. The waiters were literally running with hot plates to hungry tables. The drink menu was exciting and affordable. I got my new favorite, tacos al pastor and they were amazing. I’d move here to eat here all the time. Server Olivia was great. Thanks for a great experience!!

Great Margaritas! The Sunday buffet was really good. The fajitas are tasty. The Quasadillas were good. The taco shells are the best and freshest, I’ve ever tasted. Mon-Thurs they have buy one get one free Margaritas!
