El Leoncito started in 1977 as a small restaurant in Whittier, California serving Mexican food exclusively. Cuban food was added later in 1995, when the restaurant was relocated to Florida. The combination of mexican and Cuban food was has proven to be a success. The Sanchez family has been working non-stop for over 18 years in Florida with more than 45 years. Head Chef Antonio Hernandez has been with the restaurant for more than 40 years since opening in Whittier, California. Viva la margarita!

Beautiful restaurant with a great ambience! They also have a Great selection of Mexican and Cuban dishes. My favorites are the fresh mango ceviche to share and the Manzana Apple margarita!
