I had a very disappointing experience at this location (downtown, across old Ross store). The food was not prepared well, nothing stood out in terms of taste and quality, and it felt like little care was put into its preparation. It didnt feel like something a customer would enjoy or come back for.

The service was even more concerning. I asked for an extra bag, and instead of a simple explanation, I was met with hostility by the lady manager. The manager a larger built woman, short height, responded very rudely, raising her voice, sounded like arguing with me, she is like on a fighting form, very sassy, saying I had to pay extra 50 cents if I really wanted it. Her tone was unnecessarily aggressive, not just towards me but also toward other customers. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Additionally, the store was not very clean, which added to the overall unpleasant experience. Cleanliness and respectful customer service should be a minimum standard, and unfortunately, this visit fell short on both.

While this McDonald’s may appear bad because of the neighborhood, it’s actually one of the better locations to go to if you are downtown during lunch hours. Even though it’s very busy because of all the office workers the food comes out as good as it gets for fast food. The large seating area located upstairs was pretty clean as well.

I ordered around 8am today on Wednesday 4-17-2024. I have order sausage rice platter and hotcakes and sausage platter. Tell me why there is no sausage in my hotcakes and sausage platter?! I can’t go back to get a remake because I catch bus and I’m already at work. You guys wasn’t even that busy so I don’t know why it’s hard to put a order together and I even work at a fast paste restaurant.

Every time I go there, there’s an item missing, or wrong. Today was no different – caramel Frappe instead of mocha; chili dip instead of honey mustard. But the sad thing is that every McDonald’s I go to lately is the same. They just don’t care. Well, care about this. I will give my business to JITB, or BK from now on. Way better service.

I was going to give this place 1 star cause everytime I order I think they are watering down my coffee, cause I use the 0.99 coffee deal on the app. Same manager is always back there doing the drinks… and they always come out watery even when I add expresso. I don’t think she’s even adding the expresso, cause today, someone else was working and my coffee was great. It was so strong and so good.

I WAS GOING TO STOP COMING HERE AND GIVE THIS PLACE 1 STAR BUT WHOEVER WORKED THERE EARLIER TODAY AROUND 9AM ON THE DRINKS SAVED THEM FROM LOSING A CUSTOMER AND GETTING A BAD REVIEW.

KEEP THAT PERSON BACK THERE.. PROMOTE THEM. THEY WILL SAVE YOUR BUSINESS. THAT PERSON MAKES ME WANT TO COME BACK AND ORDER COFFEE WHENEVER I FIND THEM BACK THERE WORKING ON THE DRINKS. BUT THE USUAL MANAGER WHO DOES THE DRINKS WILL CHASE AWAY CUSTOMERS WITH THOSE WATERED DOWN COFFEES.

EDIT: Now everyday we are back to the same manager, skimming the coffee. The coffee never has strength or power even when i add expresso.

I get the idea that they are charging me for expresso and they are not adding expresso unless someone else makes the cup then magically I taste the caramel and the expresso.

Edit again: Sent my wife for coffee and bam, same person makes her a good strong coffee.

I learned there is some agenda against me buying coffee there. So I will no longer buy coffee here. I have gotten other things here too other than coffee but i will no longer purchase anything from here. Customer lost.

Last coffee I bought here, I took a few sips and tossed it in the garbage. They are wasting my money.

They have this buzzer that goes off perpetually on the french fry cooker. It just beeps Loudly and never stops while you’re eating. It’s like a truck backing up when you’re trying to sleep at five in the morning. And it doesn’t stop. I can’t believe that they have become so accustomed to it that they do not realize how annoying the Sound feeling the restaurant downtown Is to the customers who want to sit down and relax
I like their hamburgers and great deals for 5 or 6 bucks, But frankly, I don’t feel very good after eating the fried chicken and french fries… but tasty after going to the gym. Convenient location.

The hamburgers go down pretty well, and the iced tea without sugar is really good also.

They have to put up with some Homeless people, and I think they do a pretty good job. I’ve seen some pretty rude customers, yelling at them, and they handled things well. For a quick bite, it’s a helpful place, The upstairs is closed at night.And so you only have the little space downstairs with all the noise, but it’s still helpful.

I was reminded today why I stopped eating at McDonald’s. I went to this location for lunch and attempted to ask the clerk about the $5 meal I’d seen online to confirm if they had it. Before I could even finish my question, she rudely cut me off, said “chicken,” and asked if I wanted dipping sauce. The meal I had in mind included a burger, chicken nuggets, fries, and a drink, so I tried to clarify by asking if it was the burger meal I was referring to. Instead of answering politely, she snapped back and said, “It’s $6.”

Obviously, I didn’t know this because I was still trying to ask about it when she interrupted me. Her attitude was so rude and dismissive that I decided not to order anything at all. If the food is anything like the service—or her attitude—it’s safe to say McDonald’s is even worse than I remembered.

I highly recommend avoiding this location, as the staff seems both unprofessional and unpleasant. I understand the job may not be easy, but no one forced them to work there—it was their choice. For better service, go to another McDonald’s.

We ordered two coffees, and 3 creamers and 3 sugars… They put the coffees in a carrier. We didn’t see the sugar or creamers, so we asked where they were. The cashier said they were there and pointed to the carrier. After we got home we looked for the creamers and sugar but they weren’t there. We tasted the coffees and each one had 3 creamers and 3 sugars put in already. Super creamy and sugary…

The downtown McDonald’s workers are overworked and under appreciated, so the atmosphere suffers. But they are usually super on the ball, even when chronically understaffed.
I love that they know me and recognize me so that when I walk in they immediately look for my order if it’s not ready. Maybe they just want me out as quickly as possible. I do sometimes have that effect on people….
