I had the Pupusa Queso e Frijoles (Cheese with beans) because they couldn’t make only beans. I think this means they have premade pupusa. I don’t recommend this Pupusa.

I used to live across the street from El Jocoreno, and had breakfast there every morning. I haven’t been there in well over 15 years. The food is still amazing and the nice waitress is still there and has been for the last 21 years. I will be going back next week.

pupusas weren’t what we expected… they were a bit thick but with barely any filling inside. they needed a bit more cooking as well.

The best restaurants are mom and pops and this El Salvadorian restaurant is a gem! Their fried fish is amazing and you will love their “Rabo Encendido” which is a hearty helping of oxtail and rice with black beans and tortillas! Prices are fantastic for the portions served!

I’ve been here at least seven times. And I’m never disappointed. Not only are the pupusas amazing and I’ve had it at at least five other places they are my favorite. They also have amazing breakfast the traditional El Salvadorian breakfast… words cannot explain mouth watering it’s perfect. they’re also very friendly the place is clean they also have great juices so also try their juices.I live in New York and I travel across the George Washington bridge just to go there That’s how good it is.
