My first and hopefully not my last visit. I walked in. I was seated and had my bar drink, AND food in less than 9 minutes!!! Very friendly staff and the atmosphere in this establishment is very calming and impressive at the same time. The food is spot on. This would be a great place for birthdays of any age! Put this place on your to eat at list!! Very happy with my decision to eat at this establishment.

This is our local, go to Mexican restaurant. They have what my family loves to order & their chips & salsa are probably the best around, I’m very picky. There’s another Mexican restaurant very close by that starts with a G & it is not nearly as good as El Jaripeo! This places food is much better!

Let me say that they NEVER disappoint!!!! I ordered the Texas Fajitas and they came out piping and plentiful! I had to take over half of it home bc they gave me so much! Additionally, they have great frozen Margaritas! If you like Mexican food and you haven’t tried this place, What Are You Waiting for?

Got decent service and yummy food. They gave inexpensive Mexican food. I liked the lunch fajita! My sister and I could’ve shared a meal. She got the burrito bowl. The queso was good too. Our server wasn’t super attentive but we didn’t complain. Food tasted great!

Had lunch, salsa spicier than what I have had in other places. Menu gives you lots of choices, more unique dishes served here.

Prices are steeper but most of the time it’s good. They want an extra $2.99 extra to make a regular taco into a supreme. So $6 for one supreme taco. Just to add sour crème and tomato sheeshhh

This place had a nice atmosphere. It was a very roomy place. We sat at a booth. The ledge to the window needs some cleaning. It had remnants of food on it. We ordered chicken nacho Supreme. It was ok. We also had mozzarella sticks, it came with a lot of lettuce, tomato, and mozzarella. Wasn’t sure what it was for, presentation maybe? It was ok. The nachos and salsa were ok. See a pattern here? Ordered steak fajitas, Pina burrito, steak and shrimp platter, and texas chimichanga. To be honest we all thought the food was on the salty side. The rice wasn’t as fluffy as I’m used to at typical Mexican restaurants. Seemed like it was made from long grain rice, whereas I am used to short grain up north. I did enjoy the Pina burrito, it had steak and chicken with grilled pineapple, topped with cheese. It was delicious. The horchata was really good as well. The bathrooms need to be remodeled. The women’s smelled like sewage, but it was clean. The men’s wasn’t as clean according to my hubby. Service was good.

Family member recommended this place since we were in the area. We ordered chicken nacho Supreme. We also had mozzarella sticks It was ok. The nachos and salsa were ok. Ordered steak fajitas, Pina burrito, steak and shrimp platter, and texas chimichanga. Food just seemed salty. Idk why. But it was decent. I’d say try it for yourself. It wasn’t bad just wasn’t great either. Doubt if I’d go back if I’m in nap.

Typical Mexican restaurant fare and decor. Nice wait staff and averaged price. Had some good specials when we visited and not too crowded since we were there a little before they opened.

It’s been quite a few years since I’ve been here at El Jaripeo, as I don’t get out to this side of town very often. My wife and I came in for a late lunch and were seated right away. It took a while for our order to be taken, seemed like some confusion over who our server would be. We finally ordered and our food came out fairly quickly. Our food was okay, it was hot, and the flavor was okay. It was nice visiting a place we used to frequent, but I can’t say I would go out of my way to visit again.
