I’m sure everyone has an opinion on either wait staff or the flavor of the food. I had the salsa verde chicken enchiladas with a small portion of rice and plenty of beans now. I’m sure rice isn’t more expensive. The chicken, but whatever overall I can say my meal was good, not the best, but it’s up there I request for the hottest salsa they made because the one they serve with tostada chips is for sissies so I got what I asked for I can say it’s not for everyone who can’t tolerate spicy salsa me on the other hand I can say it was hot enough to make me sweat I will be coming back to try different items on the menu hope they don’t skip out on the rice tho .

The chips and salsa were very good. Our servers were wonderful, and the dishes were large and plentiful. It got a little noisy, but I’m just more on the quiet side of things. I didn’t have a drink/mixed drink, but they sure looked refreshing. My Nachos El Jalisco was very good. I would love to visit again when I come back to Tallahassee.

Esmeralda is the worst waitress ever. She would come start off nice asking what you would like to drink. Then disappear, another waiter asked if we need assistance we should have had him take care of Us instead. We waited to order food. She brought Us our food and then we never saw her again. Two gentlemen waiters assisted with our needs since she was no where to be found. Mind you restaurant had just opened and only a handful of tables and plenty of wait staff. The food was meh, not seasoned rather bland for a Mexican restaurant. I had a taco salad but only had enough lettuce really for a Garnish not enough to make a meal. We won’t be coming back.

You portions are way too small for a Mexican restaurant. I like the fact that Mexican restaurants offer a lot of food and I box it out to have another meal later that day. In this restaurant you could visibly count the meat pieces..

Above average Mexican food! Best lunch menu of the Mexican places I’ve tried. Good quality food and portion! The service can be a little hit or miss… some of the burritos are absolutely massive! If you haven’t been this place is worth a try

The food was good and the service was good once we were sat but it took a long time to get our table. It was kinda full the night we went but there were lots of empty tables that were just not cleaned. See pic. It seem that they only had one person cleaning tables once people left. I would still recommend as the food was good.

I went to El Jalisco to try the fluffy tacos (the shell is a flour tortilla fried crispy) and chose birria meat as the filling. It was excellent and my server Hector was so attentive, I gave him a little over 20% for a tip.
