It’s ok, we were expecting it to be the best Sonoran Hot Dog we’ve ever had based on social media and news hype, so we made sure to stop in while we were in Tucson but we were disappointed try Monarca Restaurant’s Sonoran Hot dogs in Phoenix for the BEST ever Sonoran hot dog, on Baseline and 7th st and Ta Carbon or really most carnicerías in Phoenix for better carne asada, here the hot dog was overwhelmingly bread, lacked caramelized onions and we barely even tasted the hot dog, the carne asada was better than the hot dog but was very greasy and was finely chopped with some dried pieces too while the chilies and onions were under roasted and almost raw, the best part about out food was their salsas

I always love coming here. The food is amazing as always. The only thing I have a complaint about is the women’s restroom was out of order and so we used the men’s. It was very dirty, it needed a good detailing. They have an amazing salsa bar with fresh limes and shredded cheese. Thanks for the amazing food as always.

Awesome salsa and flour tortillas. Tacos are stuffed to the max with meat. Sonoran dog was good, but nothing to write home about. Great place to eat if you’re passing by.

I think I hyped this place up a little too much in my own mind based on social media reviews. We both had sonoran hot dogs. They were ok, but nothing near the mind-blowing experience influencers made it out to be. Cool experience, but I probably won’t be back.

Very expensive and they leave the fat on their meat so you’re chewing like a cow trying to eat your tacos. Tried them out but would recommend literally any other taco place in Tucson where you get more bang for your buck. Also, didn’t appreciate the workers laughing at us for assuming the menu they had outside in the drive thru was accurate to their actual prices? I may not look like I speak Spanish but fortunately I do and let the girl know. She was very quiet for the rest of our transaction.

Ordered delivery, got unrendered fat chunks mixed with meat in a burrito that had only some type of cheese, and some beans, but the ratio was awful; most importantly, this order gave me salmonella or food poisoning BAD. What the h*ll is that? Possibly couldve been the chicken taco, or the irrigation used on the greens with the taco, or cross contamination, but that was terrible. Worst diarrhea of my adult life. Guac was decent, but far too much for the chips it came with. Maybe it was the guac though?

Oh my goodness!! I love the food here!! The atmosphere is more about the food than how pretty the place is. The salsa bar is spotless and delicious!! I’d love a little more heat, but, honestly the flavors are so good. My favorite is the Sonoran dog, only to be outdone by the Sammy, a double Sonoran dog!! Oh, so good!!

FYI: I had the WORST TASTING Sonoran hot dogs no flavor, very small amount of condiments (no mayo or mustard) & VERY DRY only tasted the bread & the meat!! Güero Canelo please train your employees who have no clue what a Sonoran hot dog tastes like or looks like you’re ruining our Mexican dishes! We bought 5 Sonoran hot dogs spent over $30 that’s a waste of money & food because we couldn’t eat them, extremely upsetting!!
