Holy Guacamole! El Burrito, you’ve wrapped my taste buds in a flavor fiesta they won’t forget! Your burritos are like culinary treasure chests – each bite is a surprise party for my mouth. I’m convinced your secret ingredient is pure happiness, because I haven’t smiled this much since my pet rock won a dance-off. The salsa? It’s so spicy, it could give a dragon a run for its money. I’m pretty sure my tongue did the cha-cha after just one bite. El Burrito, you’re not just serving food, you’re delivering edible laughter and joy. Consider me your number one fan and professional salsa dancer!”

Was my first time coming to this restaurant. The service was awesome I thought it could have been better in certain areas but all in all customer service and the wait staff they were on it. The food to be was a wee bit pricey., however, they’re writing downtown old town area and you crossed the block and enter into that area and prices don’t trip so it’s understandable because of its location. I ordered Mexican chili cheese fries and the girl said they never made them before and I explained basically how you do it and they come to me in a small round Bowl, they should have been put on a platter with green chili poured over the top of it and then a bunch of shredded cheese that’s the best way and it also looks appetizing when done that way. I had a soft corn shell taco, I would put the salsa on the side and the taco was excellent! Only thing is I didn’t think to take photos of our food. I will next time but I would refer this place to anybody. Right now everything is pricey, where ever you go. I included in my meal my drink price, so 20 to $30 per person with drinks included. Now during these times I suggest for the people who don’t have that kind of money to spend that much you know have several items on the menu for people who are living on a low budget. There is parking right out front and on the side of the building and there’s a lot next to that they have a bar there still there’s cocktails being served as well. And handicap accessibility available, yes. The staff that was working the afternoon I was there, they were short employees, but it didn’t show, I enjoyed my meal and the pleasantries of the wait staff and considering the bartender was the cook for that day as well., he did awesome and I’d go there again. And yes to vegetarian.

Younger girl running the food line was so rude. Looked like she had a burrito for the lunch special ready to go before I even got there. (which is a little shady) but I told her I wanted it to go, and she huffed and puffed about it. Kinda slammed all my food in a TO-GO container, didn’t put aluminum foil in to separate the the chips and tostadas from the burrito like they normally do, so by the time I got back to work it (which was only 5 minutes away) everything was just one big pile of sloppy soggy food. Friendly advice- if you work in food service, don’t act like customers are inconveniencing you- Gone there for years- don’t think I’ll be back if she’s working.

Check your bill. Not sure how much we paid for items for 4 people. Server said their “machine was down”. What does that even mean?? Machine was able to process my credit card just fine. ? Server presented us with a check for the final amount which was higher than the prices on the menu indicated. Won’t be back.

I’ve been here twice in the last month bc my boy friend likes, or liked it. The first time the food was bad but i thought it was an ordering issue and gave it a second try.

We are from out of town. We heard that El Burrito was a great place to eat. I guess we will never know. We walked in the front door and was immediately ignored by the girl at the register. She SAW us, we made eye contact! After finally being acknowledged, a random server told us, “Sit anywhere, we will be right with you.” So, we sat, and sat, and sat. 15 minutes later, another server comes into the room we’re in and asks if we’ve been helped yet. NOPE. Mind you, it is barely 5:00 and they are NOT busy. Another family sits across from us and IMMEDIATELY a server appears at their table with waters, chips and salsa. WTH???? We walked out the door, never to return. The Rio wants our business and that’s where we went!!

Not great for FoCo… we got queso, guac, salsa, chips, margs, and beef flautas and I would say the only tasty part was the margs. Everything else was quite tasteless and seemed cheap and store-bought. I only intend to share my honest opinion, not bring this establishment down. I hope they can improve with this feedback!

Thanks to the Godinez family for always taking care of us! Our family had a celebration this past weekend. It’s great our families go way back as friends! I love the simplicity of their food! It totally hits the spot! Their green chilie is unique. I love it because it reminds me of my grandmas! Thumbs up, El Burrito!!!
