Food was good! It was 95 degrees outside, so we ate inside. But there was next to no air ventilation or circulation going, which made for an uncomfortable meal. It also made for an odd smell. My recommendation to the restaurant owners is to run the AC more often, and to make sure the place smells clean (it smelled like dirty dishwater). The glasses and silverware were clean, and the food really was good, but the ambiance can throw anyone off. Just a tip!

We’ve traveled the globe. The food was AMAZING and authentic. We ordered a few dishes to sample. The jerk chicken did not disappoint. Cooked just right. The whole red snapper with creole sauce was cooked to perfection; and the coconut seafood stew had indescribable flavors that simply delighted the palate. I must say, it’s been a while since I’ve had such a wonderful dining experience. We had a chance to meet Beatrce, one of the owners. She made us feel like we were Home. This is a family owned business that we MUST support. The food is like WHOA!!!!! You will want to kiss Chef Angel

The place was amazing. Food delicious. I am not sure what they were putting in their sauces, but I wanted to eat them with the spoon. We ordered Pollo Jamaiquino and it was finger licking good. El Jibarito Sandwich with beef had a great texture, but tasted rather plain. Definitely recommend and we will be coming back.

Totally delicious. Owner amazingly friendly. Priced right. Things tried, jerk chicken, soup, empanadillas, tostones rellenos and jibarito steak sandwich. Flan and cheesecake out of this world. Will definitely come back. Oh, the mango mojito is a must.

I recently posted a bad review for this restaurant, and I am sorry that I did so. It was wrong of me to do it, because I had not talked with the manager, or owner about my issue while I was at their establishment. The owner was quick to answer my post, and let me rightfully know, that I had handled this inappropriately. The owner was very sorry that we did not enjoy our meal with them, and offered to make it right. I think our problem was that we did not understand the Caribbean cuisine, and the dish we had ordered. The pork chop is huge, and even tho my wife and I always share, it was so much more than we could ever probably consume in even 2 sittings. We like our food spicy. We had told our waitress that, and she recommended the Jerk Chicken. Can’t tell you why, but we did not go with her recommendation. The pork is not real spicy. When we told the waitress, she was quick to bring us out some bottles of hot sauce to spice it up. We probably hit it a little too hard with these hot sauces. We had already had a couple drinks, and the hot sauces did not hit us till we got home. This is the first time I had ever reviewed something online like this. As soon as I hit the button and sent it, my wife and I both were sorry we did it. We did not know that you could edit or delete a review after it’s been submitted. It was an OH, what’s done is done moment. Did not think about again until the owner responded to it. Can see by other reviews, that they are good at doing that here. So I looked into whether or not I could delete it, and found that I could, and did so.

Puerto Rican and Caribbean fusion that won’t disappoint. The staff is very attentive and the owners are amazing and thoughtful. We had our rehearsal dinner here and they went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of and that everything was up to our expectations. From the appetizers, drinks, salads, pernil and dessert (made in house guava/coconut cake) everything was delicious and fresh. My whole family fell in love with the place and the owners. We will be back and will recommend this place to everyone that can listen. Thanks Beatriz for your warm and kind welcome and attentions.
