It’s my first time dining at East Ridge Diner & Steak House. Overall a very pleasant experience. My friend had the barbecue chicken with the sides. I had the Tennessee Pork Chops with home fries and Mac salad. First the pork chops. Two nice sized pieces of boneless pork chops. The Mac salad was actually the shining star of the meal. I have had Mac salad at many different places, but none could compare to the Mac salad at East Ridge. As for the pork, it had a great taste, and the flavor of the sauce was great. The onion rings were good, but now we get to the reason I could not give the review five stars. Both the onion rings and the home fries were cold. Not warm, but cold. But they both had good flavor so it wasn’t a total loss. The waitress offered to heat things up, but I declined. It was the waitress that brought the review back to the four star mark. Christin was very attentive, and stopped by the table at least five times if not more. They should be glad they have her. All in all, it was a good experience, and I can definitely say I will return. Make sure when you go, get the Mac salad. You won’t be disappointed.

Ordered what was supposed to be a hot chicken sandwich. Absolutely disgusting. This “gravy” was something else that’s for sure. Server never checked on us expect for giving us the bill. When I told a staff member I would have liked something else he said “yeah the gravy is old and bad they’re making a new batch now” that was unsettling. I still had to pay. Not worth the 50 dollars we spent here.

We visited East Ridge family diner early on a Friday. This ranks high on my list of diners. I had a broiled seafood dinner while my husband opted for breakfast. The cup of clam chowder I had was impressive. Way better than most. The broiled seafood was tasty but could have used a bit more flavor on the fish. My husband enjoyed the breakfast food. The service was well timed. I wholeheartedly recommend this place as you get a good bang for the buck!

Ice place, we were coming back through Rochester from a vacation and were looking for a place to eat. We try to go to new places and local ones in particular. Very impressed with this place. All the food was very good. Club sandwiches, rum French toast and my pulled pork was tasty. Service was good and I recommend stopping if you are in the area.

Food came extremely undercooked and I asked for no meat as I am a vegetarian, and of course there was meat in my omelette. The hashbrowms were absolutely soggy and underdone.

This diner is very clean and full of quick and friendly service. Food comes fast and is really good! Personally I love the Club BLT’s. They are so huge and hard to finish. The home fries that come with the plates make the Rochester’s garbage plate a more unique experience.
