I was very appreciative and impressed that even being really busy, we were able to be seated. The waitress at first was very attentive. Unfortunately, that changed quickly after our drinks reached the table. After waiting a good 10 minutes to order food, I was hoping it wouldn’t be a long wait. It was about a full 20 or so minutes till food finally arrived. The food was absolutely delicious! It’s definitely a very good barbecue place. Proportions were of good size for the cost. The kids were happy with the taste of theirs and the wife loved her salad. I had the two meat combo, which had rib tips, and Georgia chopped pork. The sauces were amazing! Ended up taking some home. The waitress took forever to bring boxes and the bill. She didn’t seem to be engaged in the actual work. Still knowing she has to make a living, I tipped. I’m hoping the service industry as a whole eventually stabilizes and better servers come of it.

My first time here was on the 4th of July as soon as they opened ! The food was SOOOO good! (See photo!)Every thing was a 10/10. Just this week we ordered take out for dinner. It wasn’t so great – the rib tips were unedible. I like char/burnt ends but these were beyond that. I couldn’t even bite into a couple of them. The mac and cheese was like soup. For 2 people to eat here , your gonna be paying atleast $40 – 60 so getting bad food is very disappointing. Would return for dining in only. Not more take out for me.

Came here with family for lunch. Food did not disappoint. It was hot, fresh and enough for two meals. The meats were tender and sides were tasty. The server was hard to find when something was needed. Looked like they were short staffed at that time. Overall I would return if in the area again.

We are visiting in town for work. We used to have a famous Dave’s near our home but it had closed sometime ago and we thought we would try this location. The server was very helpful bringing us some corn bread before we even got our coats off as we were not paying attention to my husband’s sugar levels the way we should have and he was low. We ordered brisket and ribs. The chain used to carry 3 kinds of ribs at one time, now they just carry one. They are not the fall off the bone kind, they are definitely a chew off the bone. The meal was ok not as many options as they used to have. The server was also kind enough to send us with plates and silverware as we were about to hunker down in a hotel for the Christmas blizzard that was about to hit. The food is fine if you keep in mind it’s “northern BBQ” if you are expecting what they have in the south…keep driving.

Fatty and tough ribs, I have to find a new rib spot. I ordered a slab which was a waste of money. I ordered online and requested Southside sauce and didn’t get it plus I was charged extra for Center cut ribs but didn’t enjoy what I paid for due to the fat and toughness of the ribs and my muffins was smashed. Very disappointed.

Very good bbq food. We ordered the all American platter for about $80 which feeds 4-6 persons. Had a party of 10, ordered the platter along with 5 individual main dishes. May not be the best but compared good to bbq places I been to in Texas and the south. Total bill was $190 before tips.

Same famous Dave’s vibe, new location for me, cool staff but my baby back ribs could have been cooked longer, they were a tad bit tough. The Tito’s spiked lemonade needs at least one more ingredient. I enjoyed myself overall.
