One of the best BBQ joints I’ve ever been to. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were happy to suggest their best dishes and checked whether I was happy with my choices. The pulled pork was superbly moist and juicy, filled with Smokey flavors and an excellent BBQ sauce. The ribs were soft, tender and packed with flavor. And the side dishes, unbeatable. Not sure which one was better – the corn bread or the sweet potatoes. I’ll come back as soon as I’m in the Dallas area again in the future.

Highly recommend stopping here for BBQ and beers. Service was good and the place was cool! I got the 2 meat plate, ribs and brisket and I definitely recommend both. Both were tinder and juicy. There’s a good selection of sides as well. Green beans, sweet potatoes etc … I definitely recommend getting out of the city and eating here. Way better serving sizes and way better flavor!

Fall off the bone St Louis ribs. They have a nice spice to them and are juicy tender. The beans lack a bit so I add sauce n brisket to level em off. The bar setting combo is great and gives a historic saloon feel.

Western saloon with a nice lunch menu. My hamburger was tasty, cooked to order. My friends enjoyed their soup, ribs, salad, baked beans with bacon. Server was very accommodating to gluten free requirement.

This is one of those places off the beaten path that’s totally worth it if you’re focus is excellent food. Generous portions, excellent taste, friendly staff. Facilities leave a bit to be desired, but judging by the part of town it’s in, understandable. If you want a huge selection of really yummy smoked meats, this is the place!

Go for the BBQ and the scratch made sides. We had the ribs, brisket and smoked meatloaf and recommend all 3. The apple slaw, sweet potato casserole, and onion rings are spot on and you cannot beat the cornbread. Next time we will try the drinks at the bar.

Everyone was super nice! The bbq staff are amazing and humble. The bar tenders favorite cocktail to make is a Tom Collins so ask for that. Wasn’t to fond of the potato salad, it was very bland. Everything else was amazing!!! My new hole in the wall tradition when I’m in Dallas for sure!

As my family and I left Great Wolf lodge this afternoon my husband and I decided we wanted some bbq. One of my kids was still in their bathing suit and the other had lost their shoes so we didn’t want to bring them inside. So my husband and I ran inside and ordered our food and sat outside to eat with the kids. One of the gentleman came out and told us we could come inside and eat which we greatly appreciated since it was so hot outside and we were eating hot food. The food was amazing! I got a brisket sandwich and the jalapeño and cheese sausage with okra and Mac and cheese. My husband got brisket and pulled pork! I tried his pulled pork and it tasted so good. The Mac and cheese was mouth watering. And all the meat was great!
