The parking lot and how drive-thru traffic is routed here causes major issues. It’s a nightmare trying to get some coffee in the morning. Depending on who you get on the intercom will decide what kind of service you get. There is a person there that interrupts you to say, ” just the donut” before you finish and each item you add, they tend to keep interrupting instead of letting you finish. It’s fine, but when they interrupt it’s hard to get your whole order in. Specifically, today, my coffee was forgotten about and I had to repeat my whole order two times because they were not at the computer or something.

I’m from the east coast so I was super excited when I heard Dunkin’ Doughnuts was coming to Cedar Rapids! I thought we would never see them here in the midwest and I thought I was going to have to travel all the way back to Boston if I ever wanted to visit one again. Now it’s only a matter of time before Dunkin’ single-handedly takes over the game! Screw Starbucks and Scooters! I RUN ON DUNKIN’!

The drive through at this location is a bit terrible but the staff manage the long line well. I’d avoid ever parking in the lot during the morning rush because the drive thru line ends up wrapping around and blocking the parking spots.

If you like blended drinks be sure to ask for the mocha without the chocolate syrup . I am not sure why this comes standard on blender drinks. As if there wasn’t enough sugar already. I’ll stick to the bottled orange lid drinks at the grocery store as I haven’t been impressed by the fast food stores.

They seemed really chaotic that day, I came inside because of this. I got some hash browns and a frozen hot chocolate they ended up accidentally giving my drink to the drive thru and almost had to remake it bc I had already gotten my hash browns which got cold not complaining love dunking the employees just seemed stressed.

Friendly staff on my visit. Nothing seems overly salty. So it was an enjoyable experience. I was kind of bummed that you only get 6 hash browns per order.
