I would have enjoyed it more if the place wasn’t so hot inside. It was hot outside and even with their A/C on it was hot inside and the temp was not allowed to be touched for the event that I attended. So had to go sit under the A/C vent when it was on iust to be able to be comfortable enough for a brief moment. That’s about the only issue I had with the place.

Owner must have been raised by awful people or he’s just a complete piece of trash. I can’t believe the status he has in this area. So many good people know this man however, they should know he doesn’t pay his employees and he doesn’t talk to them like they are people just trash like himself. Not sure how this bar remains open with the amount of employees that experienced the same lack of pay I did. I don’t despise many people on this planet, but Payton is absolute garbage. We’ve given this place so many chances but it is just trashy. The bands are often so drunk it’s more like a bad karaoke experience. Patrons are over-served. Staff is drunk and heckles the clientele. The staff admits they never open the inside. It’s a bad dive bar experience at best. This last experience was such that I’m not even sure a person like John Taffer could save this place.

Owners are rude karens and talk bad about local business, put up a fence to the brewery and threaten to tow vehicles if you go next door to get food, owner will tell you they have food but it’s gross been out all day and way overcooked. Avoid this place. Go to the breweries.
