Pros: Not crowded, and the AC was pumping. The Mac and cheese Southern egg roll appetizer was awesome! The portions are huge. The club wrap had a lot of bacon, and I could only eat half. Same for my partner. He enjoyed half of his fried green tomato sandwich. The tall beer mug height is about two hands tall.

Absolutely amazing food for the prices! We traveled a few hours away for a small getaway weekend and stopped here for dinner one night. Everyone was very friendly, waitress’ were very attentive, one recommended the southern egg rolls and WOW they were good! We got burgers and a salad and everything was SOOOOO Yummy!! Very good food, big portions, and the bill was cheaper than we had thought it was going to be! Definitely will eat here again if we come back near the area!

I discovered this hidden gem while working in Brookneal on a project. It was love at first bite! The food and atmosphere was so good that I ate there every day we were in town, 8 days total, and EVERYTHING was delicious.

Food is always perfect here, the atmosphere is always perfect and the staff is always perfect! We love their food so much they catered our wedding! Most definitely recommend! We plan on moving to this area next year and can’t wait to be a regular! Thank you again to everyone especially Madison and Damien! Those ribs were PERFECT!!!!

First time visiting this establishment after my husband raved about the food and ownership and it was a horrible experience from the food to the customer service and the cook. There was one other couple there and it took 10 minutes to take our drink order. We ordered 2 tall beers and after waiting another 10-15 minutes our beer came. One was a tall and one was not. The waitress said she was going to bring another beer to make up for it not being a tall. We never got the second beer. My husband ordered a steak medium. It came out medium well. Slightly pink in the center. He told the waitress it was not cooked properly and the cook came out laughing, telling him if he cooked it anymore it would be well done. He told him he didn’t want it more done but more pink in the center. The cook walked away laughing. My husband did not feel comfortable getting the replacement for him so he told the waitress he did not want the entree. I got a to go box and he went to pay for the check. The cook then comes out with a new entree and my husband said I don’t want it. We are just paying and leaving. The cook got rude and disrespectful slamming the plate in the counter still laughing. My husband was speaking to another employee he knew and the waitress told him he needed to to leave. My husband called the owner to make him aware of the experience we had in his establishment and he never even apologized. He said he would talk to the employees and that was all! We will never go back to this place. They were rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please choose another restaurant, they do not know how to run a business!

We had a larger party come in Saturday night for dinner. The service and food was absolutely terrible. And the place wasn’t even busy. I ordered the main street chicken, which should have had mushrooms with mashed potatoes. When we finally got our food, my plate came out with fries and my chicken did not have mushrooms on it. I asked about mashed potatoes and the mushrooms, and was told they were out of both. Then all of a sudden mushrooms appeared from somewhere. Not to mention they were out of baked potatoes as well, or so I was told. My husband’s food was also forgotten to be put in by our waitress. Needless to say, that will be our last time eating here.

Had smoked pork sandwich and sweet potato fries, came with bbq sauce, coleslaw and brownsugar butter for fries. MOST EXCELLENT!!! pricing is really also excellent. Met owner who took us on tour. Art you the man and I wish you good luck and great fortune!

This place is great! I had the BBQ Smokehouse Burger with sweet potato fries. Both were delicious! The fries were crispy on the outside with a sweet & savory seasoning. The burger melts in your mouth! Highly recommended.
