A quaint little diner with very good food. Service was great. We had a great burger and a wonderful reuben. Fries were excellent nice and crispy and the chicken soup was like homemade.

I grew up in southern Michigan eating Coney Island hot dogs long before I was old enough to know that there is an actual place called Coney Island (eventually I got there in the 1980s and I rode the old wooden roller coaster- terrifying). Coney dogs were a treat at the mall and, in my drinking days, a great treatment for hangovers. Main St Coney Island has all of that in a warm local atmosphere, an efficient and friendly staff and fair prices. Long live the Coney Islands of Michigan.

I mainly just get take-out. The food is really good, but just check your bags to make sure you got everything. I had to go back a few times. Here’s the menu since for some reason small town restaurants can’t put these up online somewhere.

There was absolutely nothing negative about this restaurant. I do not review things that often, but this place REALLY deserves to be known about. The waitress was so sweet. She forgot my drink at the beginning, but I was also with 8 other people so I can easily forgive her for that. Plus, within 10 minutes our food was out and was AMAZING for such a quick prep. This is an awesome place to stop for a quick meal; I’d say that it’s the BEST place to stop for the ideal quick food.
