Not all pizza joints are the same as you already know. I eat just about anything but halal food. Normally a restaurant lets you know its halal. Not this one! I realized when I saw this picture on the wall. Not only that, but frankly the cheesecake was absolutely horrible! Once and done! Never again!

Douglass Pizzeria & Grill sits along the busy Route 27. They offer tons of sandwiches, burgers, salads, gyros, fried foods, and pizza. The staff was very friendly during my visit. I tried the plain slice and a slice of peppers and onions. The slices were okay. Both had a tremendous crispy, crunchy base. The cheese is decent but the sauce is bland and so is the crust. The crust is nice and fluffy at least. The peppers and onions are good. During my visit, the temperature was uncomfortably warm inside. Not sure if it’s usually like that, but it was very noticeable.

This used to be agood place. Recently I bought Lamb Gyro over rice, and chicken topping Pizza. Gyro had very cheap quality yellow rice and no taste, plus Gyro had very small amount of meat. When I brought it home, my kids asked me, if I had eaten their meat portion. Pizza taste and hardness was as good as plastic piece.

The were very polite. I would recommend the fish. It taste like they just captured it out the water. Lol. However, they might of had a bathroom, but when I asked if I could used it had been on the road for over 6 hrs they said they did not have one I wasn’t happy about that because I felt like they had one.

We used to go to this place every now and then for sandwiches , pizza but for past two times we had bad experiences .. first time when we had a bad experience we let it go and gave them another try yesterday. And we had the worst experience ever ! their food quality went totally down .. pizza tasted like a cardboard.. chicken was dried and their sandwiches lost their taste as well ! every dish tasted stale and not fresh ! Very bad experience.. not going there again !!!!

This is an old brand and so I decided to stop at one of their joints to check it out and taste their food. I couldn’t eat there… Setting outdated and nothing better to write about. I took the food and ate in my car. Nothing special about the food too.
