Wanted good Mexican with bar vibe in Utah. Yeh I know hard to get and this place is not it. Atmosphere was ok. Wanted to keep it simple to see how things were and ordered sweet pork burrito. Well if you look at photo there are chunks of pork with no sauce and then really runny sweet sauce and chopped pork inside. The sweet sauce was all over the beans. My mind is blown trying to figure out what I even ate. You would have to have the taste buds of a donkey to think this was quality food.

Fun atmosphere! Food was great! Service was a bit slow for a Thursday night but it may have been because we had a party of 8. Server was super sweet and got our orders correct. I’ve wanted to eat here for so long, it was worth it. Bar is next door and from what we saw, it’s very cool!

I went here this week on a date & it was so good! Service was so quick both in taking our orders & we received our food quickly too. The salsa was a little spicy for me, but I loved the guacamole! I ordered cheese enchiladas, with flour tortillas, smothered in chile verde & they were probably one of the best enchiladas I’ve ever had! It was a combination of the flour tortillas, cheese blend, & sauce. My date had the sweet pork burrito & loved it! I tried the sweet pork & it had good flavor, not too sweet. Loved the vibes here. There were dollar bills everywhere with little sayings/names on them. The ceiling was covered! Definitely check this place out!

My husband and I had a bad experience on Sunday. We are barely sat down and the bartender with the handlebar mustache, was aggressively asking us “ What can I get for you”? We then replied. Hey, can we get a minute he stood there looking at us in disbelief. The pressure of his gaze was palpable. He then aggressively asked my husband for ID. He managed to make us so uncomfortable we drank our drink as fast as we could and left. Not going back anytime soon.

I go to Dinkey tails every Thursday with my gf and a group of our friends for karaoke, the food is great and service is always good, expect a wait on food if you go on Thursday but it’s worth it even on their late night menu starting at 9, I don’t enjoy bars and clubs but this bar/restaurant is a very fun place with a great environment and I highly recommend.

I’ve come here a few times as I live only up the street, and it’ll definitely be my last. Yesterday (Friday, March 18th) at around 6PM I brought two of my business partners here for some drinks and food. We sat on the bar side (indoor), and I ordered an Old Fashion. The drink that was brought back to me by our female server was definitely, and clearly not an Old Fashion. When we politely informed her that it was not, she insisted it was stating, “Yes it is I shook it myself.” Her defenses immediately and very visibly went up. She started being very rude and saying things like, “well this is a dive bar what do you expect?” and, “well, where do you guys drink at?”.. rolling her eyes as if we had no idea what we were talking about. The drink she brought was a mixed drink of some sort, filled to the brim of ice, and clearly no where near an Old Fashion.
