I absolutely enjoyed my first experience and definitely won’t be my last going to this restaurant. The food is delicious but the service was wonderful. The host/waiter during lunch time was absolutely accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of. I had the branzino which would usually be baked but I requested it to be grilled which they accommodated me was delightful. The branzino was a large piece compared to other restaurants and at such a great price. The restaurant had a warm atmosphere and felt homey if that makes sense. I recommend this restaurant. Two thumbs up.

Always great food been to the Newark one numerous times! This is equal quality. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I had the paella Valencia. My wife had the surf and turf. She said the filet was cooked to perfection and very tasty. My father had a 2lb lobster which at 78 he devoured. We had the calamari for an appetizer and it was cooked to perfection !! I will be coming back for my anniversary I have to try the white Sangria, the red was very good!

Always phenomenal! The waiters are absolute gentleman. The timing between courses and cleaning out the table is impeccable. The drinks, food, and service are an unmatched combination compared to every other restaurant in the area. I have been coming here with my family since childhood, and I have had many beautiful meals and memories here.

The kitchen is not clean. I ordered a dozen oysters and some octupus. The oyster shells were yellow, smelly, and they had a roach in them! (Look at the one with the lemon next to it.) I’ve been a long time customer of this restaurant but never again.

I am not one to write bad reviews, but I was disappointed in the service. They had relatively good food, but the service was not good. Overall was okay, we were just not happy with the restaurant. I am not sure if it was because my boyfriend and I looked young, but they did not treat us very well and we felt very out of place. They would serve other tables more then us even though we tipped well. It just felt like they were ignoring us and when we would order, they sounded very done with us. We were courteous and we would have appreciated if the servers put the same effort in treating us well as they did to the tables around us.

Not the 1st time here. Probably the 3rd…always delicious food & good service. Tonight was my little cousin 24th birthday. We had an array of appetizers & fresh hot bread. Never disappointed when eating here. I ordered the kids chicken tenders which were so light & not greasy. We ordered the surf & turf & 3 lobster dinners. Also a pasta with shrimp & clams. A dessert was brought out for my cousin & they sang happy birthday. A great dinner. I think my only complaint would be a perfectly cooked medium rare steak with no seasoning. It had no flavor. Everything else was up to standard. I will continue to eat here & suggest them to others.

Food was VERY good. My beef tenderloin was huge and done to medium-rare, as requested. My wife said her surf and turf was very good though, unlike some previous visits she said her lobster was a little over-cooked.

I haven’t been here in over 25 years and there’s a reason why. Only went because I was invited to a birthday celebration. Not one person enjoyed their meal. This is on my list as the worst meal I ever had.

This is a family style servings. Which they don’t really tell you. So the prices are a bit high.The Paella was delicious, Sangria was light. Maybe one little piece of Apple in it. But the flavor was good. The waiter was not pleasant, no smile, not a welcome. But the other waiters that were serving were very attentive. Your glass of water was always filled. The pork chop was thick and juicy, and 4 pieces of humongous pork chops were delicious. To be honest, it could be shared with 2 or 3 people as well as the Paella. my son had a grilled chicken with caper, it was excellent, the vegetables perfectly done. If you can overlook the staff attitude, you could definitely have a great meal.
