Stopped here for lunch. Beautiful views, great atmosphere and service. We started with the Spanish clams which were really delicious. I had the paella which was really flavorful and everything was cooked well but the lobster tail was a little tough. My dad got the pescado Frito estilo. He said the fish was cooked perfectly but the sides lacked a little flavor. Overall we had a good experience and would come back.

We sat at the newly opened outside side bar so we could have views of the water, and bc we didn’t have reservations on a Fri. night. Shared the scallop dinner, while good, there were only 4 scallops. Service was a bit slow. View was nice of the boats in the marina.

Dinner with friends at this hidden gem in Bridgeport. Fresh seafood is caught daily, in fact my friends buy fresh lobsters here. Outdoor deck with beautiful waterfront views. Food was tasty with several Latino specialty dishes on the menu. Not in the prettiest part of town, but that part of what makes it a “hidden gem”. Service is casual and you can take your time, we went for an early dinner on a Sunday afternoon. There’s enough seating indoor and outdoor to suggest that it could get busy during dinner. Not pricey for fresh seafood. Definitely worth a try

Great Portuguese twist on classic seafood dishes. Fresh and flavorful. But the prices are too high, small menu, food takes forever to be made and staff is inexperienced.

Our seafood was really good. First time there as we were going to a concert in Bridgeport. Home cooked quality. Scampi was excellent. Would give a 5 star if they had more Portuguese selection. Hard to find in CT.

Any place that accommodates my daughter’s food allergies will get a 5 star review. Touched my heart when the waiter said “tell me what her allergies are and the chef will make it happen for her”. They even made her a special garlic sauce for her tostones.

I don’t want this to be lengthy however the service here is horrible. Upon sitting down and placing our order, the food did not arrive until 2 hours later. There was no check ins to at least make us feel accommodated for the wait time. And because our group size was large I felt the lack of service was no care in the world since the group manger said that there was a CT state law of mandatory gratuity. Can someone attest to this? The wait staff did not give good service for a 68$ tip.

Not to far off the exit. Enough parking, handicap accessible, lots of seating for big dinner parties. Also a big patio, with a good view out to the sound. Decent food and good drinks. Service was slow, not staffs fault. The place was short staffed.

First of all, they could not find my reservation and took at least a good, 15 to 20 minutes to find my reservation. Another people with out reservation got first ahead of us and got attended first we waited two hours and a half. We never got the food so we decided to left. What got me frustrated was that the people that were next to us with out reservations, got out and our food somehow in the process as well. In the past I had this food this is a great restaurant but I think it was the worst idea ever of going on Mother’s Day.

8/14/23 We went with friends last night for 7:30pm reservations for the first time to Dolphin’s Cove Restaurant and Matine thought we would try a something by the water got to the restaurant at 7:20pm and we didn’t get seated until 7:40-7:45ish for outside not a problem it happens, we were given menus as we were seated and told our server will be right with us well 15 to 20 minutes later a dissheveled waitress comes by and asks us if anybody has taken our drink/dinner order. We tell her no and proceed to give her our drink and appetizers order their are six of us so it should be a few minutes, keep in mind there are only 7-9 tables in the whole place, We waited and our conversation was light and fun we haven’t got together since last year, at around 8:15 we start to wonder were our drinks are and my wife has gotten up to use the restroom as she’s coming back she mentions theirs nobody at the bar except for somebody putting away and cleaning glass, 3 minutes go by and a waiter comes by and tells us our apps will be a few more minutes and asks if we would like any drinks? with a confused look on our faces we tell him the waitress already took our drink order and he’s says he’ll go ask her, (were like okay) another 10 minutes go by and he brinks out our drinks (1 coke, 1 spicy bloodymary, 3 caipirinhas, and carafe of sangria with 4 glasses keep in mind its now 8:25pm he places the drinks on the table and my wife goes to pick up her glass and it shatters in her hand spilling her drink all over herald the table ( that happens when you take a hot glass out of a dish washer and put cold liquids in it with out letting the glass’s temperature adjust to the temperature shift). the waiter looks at my wife and leaves doesn’t say anything doesn’t offer her a napkin a paper towel nothing then I guess the manager comes over and ask my wife what did she do? She says are you kidding me and we all get up and walk out. My poor wife was covered in her cocktail mind you and its now 8:30 on a Sunday most place close at 9pm around here so we just decide to go home hungry and reschedule. I’ve worked in the restaurant business for 14 years this was 100% bad/horrible service and poor management you’ll get better service from a school cafeteria then this place. I cannot complain about the food since we never got any to try but the “RED” flags are there in Neon colors.
