This was my second time at Dog Haus and it was delicious! There’s no denying that the food is amazing (and comes out super quickly!!!!) The only downside here is the price. For a chili cheese dog, sweet potato fries, and a drink it’ll cost you about $17. But, I gladly paid it to celebrate national hot dog day! And yes I will be back to pay it again! The hot dog bun is homemade and absolutely delicious. You have to add Dog Haus to your “places to try” list!

Sort of a small hole in the wall that would be easy to overlook, however it’s well worth stopping and grabbing a bite to eat. The bratwurst has so much flavor, and has a great texture, add that to any of the toppings, and you have a great meal. The tots were also perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

This was our first time here. The employees are so friendly and nice. The atmosphere was so cool we could stay for hours. Not only was the food so good, but the beer options were awesome! I recommend ordering the loaded tots and the old time hot dog. SO DELICIOUS!

Great tasting hot dogs and sweet potato fries. Just seems like not enough food for the price. Wish they had good soft gluten free buns too. Wish they had more seating not anchored to the floor. Great patio when weather is nicer than 100+.

I’ve been eyeing Dog Haus since I moved to Richardson a year ago and I finally made a visit this past weekend. Such a loss that I waited this long to go— I was pleased with the selection of beers and styles of beer which included a number of local ones. If you can’t decide on one you can order a flight of four for $15. Their hotdog menu was awesome as well and it even included vegan options made from Beyond meat. We got their chili cheese fries, corn dog bites (came with two), their T-Mex Haus Dog and the Das Brat Haus Sausage. Both were super tasty but I liked the T-Mex a little better than the latter for its unique sweet-savory flavor. The relish on top was unique and delicious; their house made chorizo sausage was tasty as well. The buns these two dogs were served on were definitely a upgrade from the typical grocery store bun and paired perfectly with their meats. The chili cheese fries were tasty but nothing special— probably made from canned meat-only chili. Their corn dog bites were tasty but the ones we got that night looked a little extra toasty— not burnt— but definitely a little dry and moving towards burnt. We still enjoyed eating them but was a little let down.

Unfortunately the service is mediocre. Waited at the register for while because nobody was there. Two workers were just sitting down at a table staring at us, then at each other. We walked out thinking the cashier might be in the restroom. Then came back in 5 minutes and still nobody was at the register. This time the workers went to the back to notify someone. The lady came out in a bad mood. We ordered. The food got here and it had a hair in it. We asked for ranch and she said she has to charge us for ranch. So we paid for extra ranch. She took longer to give us the ranch than it took for us to eat the food. I used to love it here. Attached is a picture of both workers on their phone.
