Best devil crabs around. Shrimp served hot with plenty of hot hush puppies with individual packets of butter. Fish taste fresh. Really enjoyed the country atmosphere. Menu has expanded.

Food is phenomenal. They’ve got a nice selection of fried, broiled, steamed seafood. I love the hush puppies while you wait for your food. The service was pretty good. I wish they gave you a bigger cup of tartar sauce, sour cream, and/or cocktail sauce with your food instead of having to get many many small plastic containers. But other than that I was pleased. I definitely recommend.

The order out food is always cooked when ordered. They definitely live up to their long time name. The people that goes there has gone or returned for a long time. I love their senior choices or menu. I definitely prefer this location better than Winterville, NC. The staff is always friendly and mindful of pleasing the customers. The added bonus is the military discounts they offer my family. I will continue to eat here as long as the team members that runs it now stay or pass on the quality they have kept for so many years. True down home cooking and excellent seafood cooking at it’s finest with a southern twist. This is not to leave out their homemade hamburger steak, nor their steaks! .

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Delicious, hot food. Great service. Very reasonably priced. It was crowded and I see why! Still, they sat us quickly – less than 10 minutes. There were four of us, and every person was raving about how good everything was. We all loved it.

Food was good but disappointed in the service. We were overlooked and served after patrons who arrived after. It was so obvious that another patron stopped the waiter who was ignoring both our parties and asked if she had offended him because of the way he was greeting surrounding guests and conveniently skipping our parties. He stated no, this wasn’t his side. The gentleman who did finally wait on us was much more cordial. This type of service left a really bad taste for us.

The food smelled really good. Don’t know how it tasted , because mine never came .Had to flag my waitress to my drink refill. 8 tables were seat and served after my arrival . After 25 minutes I gave up . The manager didn’t seem very concerned about the lack of service .

My family got together for an early Thanksgiving meal. Dixie Queen was 100% terrific. My combination of fried oysters and shrimp was perfect. We had 18 people at the table. Everyone ordered something different; but, each plate looked equally delicious.

Good seafood at great price. I have never been dissappointed. May cost a little more than most and not as much food,. But the taste and quality make up for it. Service has always been top notch. Not many options in Farmville other than fast food. This is highly suggested. They do get crowded on Friday and Saturday afternoon,. Never had more than 5-10 minute wait. Highly suggested.

This was my first time and all I can say is..WOW DELICIOUS! Food was great. From Farmville NC to .Wilson NC is about 15 minutes. When I brought food home it was still hot. Thank you Dixie Queen for delicious hot fresh seafood.
