The food is DELICIOUS! It’s buffet style and is consistently good. However, the prices will sneak up on you. Each time I’ve been here, I’ve paid well over $30 for food. While it’s really good, the prices are really bad. It’s definitely not a place to eat at multiple times a week if you work in the area mainly because of the cost.

Price is insane! This meal cost me nearly $30. If i knew how much the prices rose, I would not have come here. I haven’t been to this location in about 10 years, but this insane pricing makes for a terrible value proposition.

When I first walked by this place and saw the prices, I was ready to express disdain for overpriced sandwiches, but I only review places I’ve been to. So I burned some money for a sandwich one day just to be able to say this place is overpriced. The sandwich was delicious. Unconvinced, I waited a few weeks and threw some more money down the drain for a different sandwich. Also delicious. So yes, delicious but expensive sandwiches.

My first time and my last time I go there. The food wasn’t bad but the price for the amount of food you get is insane. Very small portions nothing fancy about this place.. Gas prices are down why isn’t food.

It pains me to write this because I really do like dishes and we order catering from them all the time. However, I ordered lunch from there yesterday and was extremely disappointed in the quality and size of my lunch! I ordered the Chinese tahini noodles and was very underwhelmed. I also paid $14.70 after taxes and this felt like only a snack. It was very, very salty as well. Would not recommend getting pickup for lunch, portion size was way too small and very salty. For larger orders, I would say they are better.

Great buffet for lunch but it’s definitely a bit pricey. The pesto pasta salad is really good

Pretty decent food and wide selection. Very expensive (but review not about that). Cashiers are nice. People preparing the food are often rude. Has gotten less clean over time.

Usually never crowded for a reason. Horrible …. absolutely horrible. Chicken sandwich was smothered with dressing not mentioned on menu. Chicken quality was terrible. Looked more like sliced turkey and still slow even though empty. First and LAST trip there!!

Extremely clean place to grab a bite. We felt comfortable to get food even during Covid. We were forced to be in New York City and had to get something to eat. Soo glad we happened upon Dishes. We got a breakfast of bagel and coffee. Excellent coffee and very fresh bagels. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Found the place pretty reasonable considering it is in the city. Strongly recommend this place.

I was just charged $39 for a single buffet lunch. Can’t believe the prices — absolutely not worth it. Avoid at all costs unless price is not an issue. Smiler’s (a block or two away) has similar food for less than half the cost!
