Beautiful grounds! The food was amazing and the staff were superb. Special shout out to Noah our server. Wonderful service and very sociable! The wine director ( can’t remember her name) knew her wines and suggested the perfect pairing for our dinner! Can’t say enough!!

Really unimpressed by this pretentious place, with unprofessional staff. We made a 5:30 pm reservation thinking it will be super busy, and 10 minutes before our time we were asked to move our time 15 minutes later. Not a good sign. The restaurant was practically empty, and somehow they seated us at the worst table facing the kitchen; the door kept swinging in and out as staff goes in and out. This is supposed to be a “fancy” place and we are paying an arm and leg for food here. Not a good experience to keep seeing staff joking around and to hear all the kitchen noice (breaking plates and all). Food was decent but not exceptional. The staff seemed really new; they are not impolite but lack basic hospitality training. E.g. Our waitress forgot basic things (like plates for our appetizers). What annoyed me most was at the end of the meal when we were leaving, a staff was standing by the side door on his phone. I wasn’t sure if we could leave by the side door and asked him; at this point he just simply pointed to the door and said we could used it, and walked away. I would expect for a “nice restaurant” like this, if a guest is leaving and you are by the door, at least open the door for us! So basically we are paying 5-star price for 2-star service.

The newest addition to Geneva, NY and Geneva on the Lake. Superb food, carefully selected, artfully presented, and a pleasure for the palette. There is no better setting than this in which to enjoy a meal. This new restaurant is amazing. Whether you eat casual or bar, or in the library.

The Finger lakes have evolved when it comes to wine. Food has been lagging behind. For the first time (with all respect to the others in the region) a new joint has opened up in an old place. 1910 is a special place. It is new in old and stunning in sight. The gardens, the Lake, the beauty is eclipsed by the amazing food. We had a 30 day dry aged rib eye, branzino en papillote with a decadent chocolate cake. Wowed by the food we sat washing down wine selected by a very knowledgeable wine director (first place in the finger lakes to fill this position – great job!) until we were told that ALL baking of the most amazing bread was also done in house. Great spot. Go before it gets too crowded.

AMAZING! This is a MUST! From the time we arrived until we left ( we didn’t want to leave ) the hospitality and knowledge of the staff were astonishing! A special mention to Noah ( server ) and Stephanie ( sommelier ) whom spoke 4 languages. We have been in restaurant industry for several years and have eaten at some amazing restaurants, This will soon be a 5 star Michelin restaurant ! The place was assumed in 3/2023 by owner/ attorney from NYC who has the love of food and for the property where he was married 16 years ago. The prosciutto was flown in from Italy, the Buffalo Mozzarella ( best we ever had and we made our own in NJ) The T Bone melted like butter .Our compliments to the Chef ( who made a quick appearance). The grounds were exquisite. We can not wait to come back ! Muy Lindo! Querico! Our palates are still watering ! Gastronomical experience should not be missed ! Love, Julian & Kristin from NJ xoxox
