Everyone greeted us like family. The numerous people coming in & out picking up orders spoke to us too. The restaurant is small only 4 tables but the food & atmosphere is awesome. My burger was juicy , dripping with lots of flavor! Hubby had the wings which were delicious!! I stoled one of them. LOL LOL

What a lovely atmosphere. Service was excellent and food was as well. My wife and I had the chicken fried steak and the fried pork chop. We had Mac & cheese and the pinto beans for sides. The Mac and cheese was a little bit sweeter than we are used to, but adding their hot sauce made a great balance. We also got the honey bun and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Best meal we have had in South Carolina so far! We travelled from California and really felt at home due to the welcoming staff, atmosphere, and comfort food. Thank you for your great hospitality!

Gave the food 3 stars because I think folks like it. I met and like the owner and drop by to say hi occasionally. Can’t eat there because I’m allergic to shrimp and most everything is cooked in the same oil. Probably yummy though. Hope they consider separating chicken, fish and fries from the shrimp.

Food is horrible mac and cheese got sugar in it collard greens got way to much vinegar over seasoned rice and gray was horrible rice hard gravy barley had any flavoring pig feet were small this place has great service but whoever was in the kitchen need better cooking experience food was just nasty I had to say that drove around looking for soul food to find this place chicken was the only best thing

Lil hole in the wall mom and pop place. Ms. Diane was working along with, I think her son and other family members. They were all awesome, super nice and accommodating. Best service I’ve had since 2019. The place was quaint, and I sure many wish it were bigger, clean and had a homey feeling. The country fried steak with rice, squash and cabbage was really good. I’m going back for some honey bun cake. She was out of that and Mac and cheese….must be good. Unlike other places, Ms. Diane had some more in the oven. Will be back.
