Bought regular tamales and hot tamales The hot tamales was very good it wasn’t spicy but the regular tamales didn’t have no kind of seasoning both tamales didn’t have enough medium they was really skimpy. I couldn’t believe about tamales that was skimpy and didn’t have any seasoning for it to be a name brand tamale factory restaurant

While I do appreciate the effort and I do realize that tamales are hard to make….. Could they have made them any smaller? I don’t see how they could have possibly made them any smaller!!

Picked up 2 dozen Pork and a dozen jalepeno chicken before Christmas. I’m not sure how they are considered “Texas size” when they were barely bigger than your index finger.

This place is originally from San Antonio so they know tamales! Easy to place order online for cold or hot tamales and schedule pick up time. These tamales are fresh made daily. You will not be disappointed with classic pork. They sell out of those first. The chicken and jalapeño tasted great! Not too spicy, I think.

My parents would always bring some Delicious Tamales from San Antonio so I was happy to see one open in Austin. I called ahead and they had the order ready and they are delicious! Very friendly staff and even though they were about to close they were very helpful. I also got some of the Barbacoa which was excellent as well.

I once made a trip to San Antonio for some Delicios Tamales. I am so glad they are here in Austin now and I don’t have to make a road trip. Prices are reasonable too.

We had read about this spot before and were excited to try them. The spot is in a strip mall and their sign is noticeable. After reading reviews from their San Antonio location we were looking forward to a positive experience. My husband went in and ordered. They only offer tamales by the half dozen and the dozen. They didn’t have that many to choose from. He ordered a half dozen of the chicken. They apparently didn’t have any salsa to go with them which just seems unusual. How do you not have salsa? Tamales in Austin and you don’t have salsa? Anyway… we asked for plastic silverware and they simply blew on their fingers implying to use your hands to eat. They did not have any plastic silverware. So no salsa and no plastic silverware… in pretty sure those are two items you need to have a traditional tamale experience. The tamales were okay. They didn’t really stand out or have any memorable flavor. I honestly don’t think I’d go back. Lastly, they were TINY… like half the size I usually would expect a tamale to be. Pretty mediocre experience. Don’t see them lasting long if they don’t fix a few things.
