Stopped in to the Portland Tennessee store today around 11 am & was very impressed. Immaculately clean dining area and restrooms. Service was promt & courteous. I ordered the 2 for $5 whopper Jr’s & the quality, value & presentation was impeccable & quite honestly, reflected the product shown in advertising and packaged to perfection. Definitely will visit again.

Came from a 9hour shift on my own job at 11pm 3/31/25. My children were awake and waiting for me to bring dinner. My total was about $22. I live in Portland TN so I “USED” to go here quite often but will never spend a dime here again. The lady took my order at 11:06pm and asked me to move forward upon payment. 15 minutes later I thought WOW nothing in the store takes 15 minutes to cook and literally NO ONE ELSE was there. I mean not a single person inside or out. So I backed back and proceeded to see my fries and chicken nuggets laying in a bag on the counter so I continued to wait thinking well maybe she’s alone. Then I watched her cleaning, close the store, so to speak. So I blew the horn several times. Then started to knock on the glass with NO RESULTS. Realized later that she had ear buds in her ear. After waiting til 11:37pm she finally came around the corner with two buckets of ice on a cart and I knocked on the window to get her attention, she came but NEVER apologized and went to turn around to make my food which wasn’t even started. I asked for a refund. She smirked as if she was glad and refunded me my money. Mind you my hungry children still needed food so we went to Taco Bell which was properly staffed even at this late hour and treated me with common decency. If you are short staffed CLOSE the STORE don’t take orders to make money and burn the time clock for your own financial gain if your service is NON EXISTENT. I’ve worked in fast food and I get it but again if you’re not equipped to serve guests CLOSE the STORE. Have empathy for people’s time and individual walk of life. My children didn’t deserve me to have to have them wait for 37+mins in a drive through then turn around and have to go elsewhere due to a person who put “closing on time” before their hungry bellies. Nothing takes 37mins+ to cook in Burger King. I’m just so disappointed. This employee should be repremended, whoever left her in the store to run alone should be repremended. Y’all quick to take people money and pull them forward so it appears to corporate that y’all are prompt yet my food was never completed after 37mins.+

Here is a recurring issue that has happend twice using this Burger King. Ordering food and having missing food from the order, does it mater if you ask if all of your items you ordered are in the bag? No it doesnt! Even if you give them a second chance by asking to read off their screen the order they just filled was right! Mind you that this is 9pm at night when no other customers are in the restaurant or in the drive thru so having a dinner rush is not the excuse for missing items that didnt get put into the bag. Now I’ve never had a nasty or undesirable meal from this place, food is good for fast food, they just cant seem to get the order right or at least mine. The manager who took my phone call said she would put me in a book and reimburse my missing items, that’s great and all but who wants to just have side items for dinner, spent $31 this night with maybe 7 or 8 dollars of sides missing, now yea maybe I shouldn’t be lazy and not check my bag when I pick up my food but I also shouldn’t have too especially when your receipt has Combo on it, who orders a combo with a burger and drink and no side? Do better please Portland tn Burger King!

Always fresh prepared food, polite professional staff, and unless I order something special that takes a few minutes longer to cook, service is quite speedy!
Update – They’re still going strong! I hadn’t been here for a while so I just wanted to share my delight that the quality has not diminished. I apologize for how casual my picture is, I just wanted to share – something- They are SO polite, helpful and patient. I swear they must wait until the last possible minute to cook orders because they are so hot and fresh. I ordered a chicken sandwich, a fish sandwich, a vegan patty sandwich, and two orders of 16pc chicken nuggets, there were two cars ahead of us and we still got out in about 10 minutes. I don’t know what the secret is at this location, I cannot recommend them enough.

After last week going to our new Portland location and they got my food wrong ,the rude customer service from thepick up windows at drive-through, I thought maybe it just because they are new. So today I went again to get another perspective on the place, again went to the drive-through and again the rudeness of the window girl and while waiting you can hear and see the frustration in the members faces up front. Not to sure what the heck is going on, but either you fix the issues. And when I got home and checked on my food, after paying over $14.00 dollars for my food, you would think they wouldn’t forget my dipping sauces that they asked me which kind I wanted, well they did. And no I have none. My chicken fries are going to be a bit bland now. or this location is doomed to fail. I give this place a 1 Star rating. Portland Can way better!!!!

Sasha the manager literally saw the Royal Four Bundle on Burger Kings website and didn’t honor it. This Burger KING ALWAYS gives us problems. Literally it was on their website. Definitely don’t recommend this place I went 10 mins down the road to KY and they did it without hesitation. She mentioned that burger kind would lose money if she honors it. SMH then y advertise it online.

Employee was in the weeds with four orders. Left me standing there without saying anything, I walked out. Previous experience my order took 7 minutes to come out, I was inside while the drive through orders were averaging 1 1/2 minutes. Btw food came out cold.
