The food was good. There was no crawfish available which is what you look for in Louisiana. We ordered shrimp but it had absolutely no flavor or seasoning. It was just shrimp. The mushrooms were our favorite. The fried fish, shrimp, and half platter was great too. 5 of us got full on that plate plus the order of shrimp.

Deanie’s Seafood in Bucktown is hands down one of my most favorite restaurants ever! I have been coming to this location for over 7 years with my Trigger and they haven’t disappointed us yet!!!! I love getting their carrot soufflé with the stuffed flounder. He always orders the fried jumbo seafood stuffed shrimps and a few pounds of crawfish as an appetizer! I also love their delicious red potatoes as a snack in place of bread! They’re delicious, delightful, and dangerously good lol! Don’t hesitate, you should drop by and try out their delicious options for lunch or a family get together dinner!

Love the shrimp po-boy! Also, the stuffed mushrooms, charbroiled oysters and catfish platter are amazing. I have to give a huge shout out to @Asiaja! She’s waited on me several times and has always been friendly and attentive. She refreshes drinks and checks on the table often to make sure we’re happy with our food. Stoped here for a quick lunch. The inside was bigger and nicer then I expected. The Gumbo was great. The artichoke was a little overstuffed but it tasted pretty good. The waitress was nice and friendly. She brought us a dish of new potatoes for an appetizer that tasted like they were fresh out of a crab boil, very good and spicy. Some of the other customers plates look delicious too. I recommend trying this place out. I would come back again.
