The fish was great and the rice was ok. Personally I did not like the jollof Rice. I believe it is great cultural meal. The flavor was great and the spicy sauce on the side was awesome. I’d highly recommend to experience the African Culture and be exposed to the different style of cooking. i’ll be going back to try a different type of rice and something new next time.

It feels like a limited menu as I don’t like certain things, but this place was a hidden gem. We had the fried chicken with fried plantains , and the snapper with joffle.
It was very tasty stuff, to be sure. The fried chicken was great, and also the snapper. Absolutely loved the joffle, but picked around the peas in it. It also came wit some habanero mash which was divine.
Worth a drop in!

My wife and I tried this place. We had never had East African food before so we were educated and the food was great. We got to try new foods that we never heard of or would not normally eat (goat for example). The people are super friendly and very helpful.

We ordered attieke and goat meat today and the quantity was very disappointing. Usually one order at a cost of $18 would be good enough for 2 people but what we were served today was very dissatisfying. I used to be a regular customer of K’s kitchen but for the past several months, the food quality has detolorated. I hardly purchased authentic Liberian meal from them anymore. The food doesn’t taste anything like a Liberian cuisine. I am very disappointed and won’t be eating or recommending anyone to k’s kitchen anymore.

Today was meant to be a normal outing and exchange where I order food from my native country cuisine but it wasn’t satisfactory. I am familiar with the ingredients of all dishes Liberian because I cook them often. I purchased torborgee and it was not good at all. The food tasted spoiled despite it “being made fresh daily.” I called to ask could I exchange or be given a dish in place of my order and was refused. I was told I can send an email to the manager and hopefully get a response. I have never been refused something like this which is typical restaurant practice. I was displeased and felt like money was stolen from me considering the service I received. I will not return and I will ensure the people I know are made aware of this establishment’s customer service skills.

Tonight was my first time trying K’s Kitchen and let me say, I will absolutely be back!! I got the ginger juice, attieke &fried plantain (with croaker), potatoes green and a side of sautéed peppers and onions. Everything was delicious!!! The ginger juice is a bit expensive but so is ginger so there’s that. It was soo good and tasted so fresh, I’d gladly buy it again. I didn’t realize what attieke was until after I ordered it and started to swap it for rice but I’m glad I didn’t because I got a huge portion of rice with my potatoes green. I don’t even know what the potatoes green is exactly but it was good and so was the meat they threw in there with it! The croaker was cooked perfectly and the tiny container of mashed hot pepper stuff was fabulous with it!! I’ll be eating this for a few days, it’s a good portion of food. Way more than I was expecting.

Good food, good flavors. I’ve had both the red snapper and the goat. Very relaxed atmosphere. I wish they had lamb dibi on the menu!

My order took so long but my food was so good!!! Red snapper is my fave and they really just made it even more amazing! It was pricey but when you eat that fish… your problems will melt away!

Driving through Delaware and we just had to stop to get something to eat. Searched for “African restaurants” and decided to try K’s kitchen. Outdoor dining was very nice. Tried out Liberian jollof and I was impressed (Nigerian jollof is still the best )
