I can not rave about this place enough. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all amazing! I can’t wait to go back. I know this sounds crazy, but try the Brussels sprouts. They are a delicious bacony delight.

Excellent service from Hunter tonight. He made sure our every need was attended to and you can tell he’s really putting in the work at the bar. Sure am going to miss Datz thanks to awesome servers like Hunter.

Stopped here on our way to Indian Rocks Beach. We had the XXX grilled cheese with homemade chips, the Kentucky Colonel chicken bowl and 2 orders of eggs barbacoa. Everything was excellent and our server Elizabeth was incredible and very attentive

Would be more like 3.5. The server and ambience was really pretty and there is a cute outdoor area. Ordered the cheese grits and burnt ends. The grits were tasty and the beef was okay but seemed like it was cubed beef than actual burnt ends. My sis let me try her chicken and waffles and the waffles were good but it seems like seasoning was completely skipped on the chicken.

This was my first experience at Datz & would easily rate this one of the top restaurants I’ve been to since moving to FL a year ago. 10/10 on all accounts! Absolutely delicious food with plenty of options. (Pictured is the Kentucky Colonel Bowl) Service was attentive and helpful with decision making process & the restaurant itself is a site worth seeing. Thankful I got to stop in before they close down.

We sat outside on Saturday around noon and received the brunch menu as an option for food. It would be 20-30 minutes to wait for indoor seating- so we opted for outdoor seating with no wait since we have children. Kids meals are $10 each – see menu items in photo. One child got chicken tenders which had 3 large and tasty chicken tenders, fruit, cookie and drink. Our other child got 4 pancakes, sausage and drink – definitely not worth $10. Wish I had noticed his meal didn’t come with any other sides (husband took care of ordering kids meals 😉 – I got the surfs up – disappointed for $20 it truly was just 5-6 shrimp, 2 large chicken tenders and French fries in a basket – definitely overpriced as well. I was hoping it was a nicer entree for the price – not fried food in a basket. My husband’s Ruben was pretty good and he paid for extra meat on his sandwich. Over all nice outdoor seating and alright food, but nothing amazing like we were hoping for.

Overall great place to eat. The food was great, with large portions. Good variety for the brunch menu. Great atmosphere and decor. Fun mocktail options in addition to the drink menu. Options for both outdoor and indoor seating. The wait wasn’t bad for roughly peak brunch time. The service was good, though the server and/or kitchen staff told us the carrot cake did not have raisins, but it did.

After hearing people rave about this iconic landmark, I decided to go and have lunch. It was a Friday afternoon around 3. A total of 7 people in the restaurant and it still took 15 minutes to get a menu, 20 minutes to order and 45 minutes to get drinks and food. To much time spent here with unfriendly staff and awful cold, overpriced food. Nothing less than 1 star, unfortunately, because I could have spent my time and money elsewhere.

We were a party if seven for brunch. The waitress seemed to be new and worked at a frenetic pace, as oppose to working through the process it was always reactive.
