I had the short rib and pisco sour. My gf had the classic ceviche. The short rib was top notch and the cevice was incredible as well. The pisco sour was also amazing. Will be coming here way more often.

It’s difficult to express how disappointed I am with what was once my favorite restaurant. The menu has changed and not for the better. Instead of plantain chips with guacamole, we get corn chips. Instead of short ribs, which were excellent now there is a sirloin burger or chicken wings. The calamari is no longer accompanied by a formerly spectacular sauce. It was with a sense of sadness that we all agreed we would not be returning. Going American cuisine and cutting corners is not going to help your business. For a holiday weekend there were very few customers.

My husband and I have eaten here numerous times, and have ALWAYS enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. The braised short ribs with with truffle chive risotto is to die for! I crave it for weeks after having it. If you haven’t tried Darwin’s you’re missing out!

Our curiosity paid off! The chef knows his job and mixes flavors and ingredients with balance, experience, and intelligence. There was no dish that was just “ok”. Everything was well above expectations. Our two teenage children went from “Peruvian cuisine? ” to consider Darwin Evolutionary Cuisine one of their top faves restaurants. The paella was savory and delicate at the same time, the ceviche incredibly refreshing, and the beef skirt a treat for the palate of meat lovers such as my husband. We discovered a gem of a restaurant in our neighborhood. Well done, bravo!
