Exactly what you would expect from NY/NJ Chinese place. Food is consistent and flavorful. Good portion size and they are accommodating with modifications. Get it to go, as they are more of a take out joint – call ahead. Sure, they have tables if absolutely positively can’t wait. But you’ll wanna – it’s HOT right out the bag!

Decent Experience, But Food Could Be Better
I recently visited Peking Garden and while the service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. The portions were fair and the menu had some classic options, but the flavors felt a bit underwhelming and lacked the freshness I was hoping for.
That said, I appreciated the quick service and the staff’s attentiveness—they were kind and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s a convenient spot for a casual meal, but I’d love to see a bit more attention to flavor and presentation in the future.
Still worth a try if you’re in the area and craving Chinese food, just temper your expectations a bit.

Absolutely disappointed. My food was cold and that is supposed to be sesame chicken but it taste like it was fried in fish grease. My egg roll was burned. I will never buy from this place again. Save your money. And on top of that the associate at the counter didn’t say hello or you’re welcome. Horrible if I could give zero stars I would. Save your money its horrible.

Literally my new favorite Chinese restaurant! I love it soooo much. The flavors are those that you don’t find at every Chinese restaurant which make it special. It was a little saucy(just two steps away from being a little soggy) but the flavors were just so yummy — loved it. I highly recommend!

Great food great people. I was afraid to try another spot because I had my own place that I’ve gone to for a long time but I have to say the chicken wings and fries are very tasty and fresh. I received three orders of chicken wings and fries and one with rice and the family was happy. I look forward to going back and trying other dishes.

This review is long overdue from me, as my family and I have been ordering from here for over 10 years. It is by far the best takeout Chinese food I’ve ever had, and undoubtedly the best in Union County. Also, can’t not mention that it comes at a great price too.
