Have not been here in a couple of years. Decided to come tonight and get livers. In the past it came with sauce, not anymore! They charge for the sauce. livers to me are not good without sauce. Not sure I will be back. On top of that the young man taking our order was like a dead man in personality

6-18-23 I am at the Tioga Darrell’s Restaurant in Pineville and I am just about to leave after waiting 30 minutes for a small seafood platter. Seven Vehicles went past me with their food. When the young lady came out I explained to her that I was not very happy about having to wait 30 minutes for a single dinner. She gave me an excuse that there were only three people working. She didn’t care to hear anything I had to say. She walked away to go back inside and I said I’d like to speak to a manager. I finally went inside and when I spoke to the manager Kenzie the young lady that brought my food out to my vehicle was standing behind the manager and had a smirk on her face and was being disrespectful. I didn’t use any bad language or wasn’t showing any aggression to the young lady that brought my food out to me but her attitude and smirk on her face was completely disrespectful and inappropriate. I will never go to this place again if that’s how they treat their customers. What a horrible place and a horrible way to treat customers. The young lady had the nerve to even tell me don’t talk to her anymore and I still wasn’t being disrespectful to her. I left with a complete refund from the manager. Then I called back spoke to the manager again and said I was extremely upset about this situation and that I requested a phone call back from the owner. Kenzie took my name and number and I hope I’ll hear from the owner. 7-2-23 It’s been a couple of weeks from the day I was in there and as I suspected either the owner never got the message from the manager kenzie or the owner does not care to call back on a legitimate complaint. It appears the owner hires a bunch of disrespectful teenagers. I didn’t see anyone wearing hair nets gloves or any type of safety items to protect from contaminating the food. The place looks run down and not cleaned very well. There was a teenage boy and two teenage or young college age girls working that day. One representing herself as the manager and the other that was disrespectful to me as a customer. Whoever owns this place does not care about their customers. If a food health and safety inspector paid a visit to this place they wouldn’t do very well.

Sorry Mr. Darrell Sr. Every time I try to go to the Tioga restaurant they just don’t care about guest. I get the worst experiences you can get in a restaurant. called in a big order to be ready at 4:00pm when I arrived my ticket was hanging in the drive through window with my arrival time written on it. The kitchen did not get my ticket. This happened to my brother and he warned me that it was going to happen. What was the chances it would happen twice right? They didn’t learn from him. Thank God Popeyes had 2- 16 pc I could just pay for and go. Popeyes got my money. Plus everyone loves Popeyes. As far as taste goes, it’s just better tasting then Darren’s. If Mr. Darrells son doesn’t want to learn how to be a business owner he needs to sell it before his business bankrupt him. Even the customer waiting for his food when I got there, they cooked half his order. The cashier had to tell the cook the man ordered 2 of his meals but they only cooked 1 meal. So by the time his other meal get cooked the first will be cold. Bad business. Amateur cooks. No order to get food right. Pretty staff does not bring back busines.

The Alexandria location is always good, went to the Tioga one tonight after ball game. Ordered a 12 piece and a Liver dinner, asked them to cook liver a little less so it would be tender and juicy, the girl said sure. They pulled us around back and after 25 minutes finally brought our food and the Liver was So Overcooked and the Chicken is so dry we can’t even eat it. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, this food tonight is really a 1 Star though. Even the Rolls are Dry!
