Food is pretty good here but this evening after waiting in the Drive-Thru line for a good while a young girl brought our order to us and as she was calling it out she said we had a cheeseburger but we were supposed to have two which would have been cheeseburgers and my husband even said cheeseburgers and she said yeah. So before we even drove off I checked to make sure everything was in there and of course a cheeseburger was missing. We had to drive around and he went inside to let them know we were shorted a cheeseburger at that point the girl basically said no there were two in there so she basically was saying he was lying why would we want to pull around and have to wait any longer than we had already waited. I do realize people lie all the time but not everybody does.

The staff was very friendly and polite. Their burgers are pretty good, or at least those I have had were. Although Darrell’s as a restaurant has kind of bland chicken, it’s usually a generous portion for the price and is fresh.

Darrell’s Restaurant is a local Tioga favorite which is evident by its repeat guests. The menu is varied. The food is consistent, fresh, tasty and satisfying. Be patient during busy periods. This is not fast food. It is cooked to order. The chicken is not over seasoned, nor is the flavor of the quality fowl covered under too much salt and spices. The fries are a standout compared to some other restaurants I visit. The prices are fair market value. Its worth the drive from wherever you live in the surrounding area. Recommended.

My food is always fine regardless of whether i call it in or not, but i clarified to Miss Lilli on the phone i wanted a vegetarian hamburger , usually don’t blame people but never had an issue with yall putting a patty on it . I told her everything i wanted on there.
