this was my first time going to karaoke. the room was hot as hell!! they had two fans in the room i was in but it was still super hot. i went on a Thursday evening and it was 10$ per hour. they had a good selection of kpop/jpop/english music that my friends and i could sing along to. the mic and music volume in the room is adjustable. you can press the button on the wall for service. our server was polite and she made our experience with the karoke board very easy to navigate. we got the tteokboki and bbq chicken. the tteokboki was really good, fishcakes may have been overcooked a little but they were still yummy, it was spicy. they gave a pitcher of water for us all. the bbq chicken was really big!! chewy on some parts but crispy on most. i would go again as long as the group isnt too big bc phewww i was sweatinggg in there!!! but not bad at all.

My daughter and I may have found a gem. This place is nice and the vibe is great. There are karaoke room’s probably big enough for 5-6 ppl and the food is great. We order the fried chicken but do not knock it till you try it ! The crunch is so awesome! Drinks are good too and it’s not expensive at all. The picture does not do it justice. They have great food! My only issue is that they have not updated their phone number so you can’t get through ever.

This is a dive bar. So I gave three stars because of that. All of the negative reviews are true. I have been there twice and they consistently have the same issues.That being said it’s a little dirty. The menus, floor, and table were oddly sticky. The bathrooms are a little gross too but my second time there the bathroom was clean enough. The wait staff is weird, and not really friendly. Honestly, it was kinda disrespectful. One waiter acted like a normal human, but I wouldn’t call it friendly, just not atrociously rude. We stopped ordering food just because we didn’t want to interact with the staff, sadly, because I wanted more food and soju. The food was really good except spicy really wasn’t spicy at all. They gave us the bootleg room our second time there and the lights didn’t work. There was also a heater and a fan in the room. We didn’t use it , but it took away from the ambiance. Anywho, it was fun and I would go back. They have private karaoke and good food. Just bring sanitizer and wet wipes and be prepared for super subpar service.

This was the worst experience ever. I’ve come here several times. I made a reservation for karaoke at 10:30 and showed up at 10:24. The guy said the room was about to be open in a few mins. He asked us to sit down for a min so we did. We were then ignored several times when ordering drinks. Then he said the room would be ready in 20 mins. And told us to eat some food. So we said ok. We waited for the food. Took about 30 mins. Got the food. Then he told us to eat the food first because the karaoke room gets hot. So we proceed to eat the food. Then after we ate, we asked about the karaoke room again. This has been over an hour. And he said they’re just about to leave. But we had already waited an hour for our reservation. We chose to leave. This definitely put a sour taste for us and we will never be returning. We will also make sure we tell all our friends to never return.

I am so glad I found this place. The food here was exceptional and the place has a really amazing vibe to it. The service was a bit slow but it was a busy day as well. If you like well lit places this might not be the one for you but the food won’t disappoint. There is writing and art on the tables and wall and we added some fun things too. Would definitely recommend the yangyum chicken here.

Came to this Karaoke bar with my cousins who were visiting from Florida. The service was so poor and the hostess was completely rude and dismissive of us. We were so excited to bring them here as we have always wanted to try this location. Disappointing .

My first time to dine in Dansungsa Carrollton area. It was at 9pm on a weekday but it felt like it was a long exhausting day for the waiter. We were welcomed with a long face and a lil attitude. The food came out delicious but not to our expectations. The server apologised and sent it back to the kitchen and came back more satisfyingly better food. I’ll give it a 4 out of 5 dining experience for them trying to make it right.
