Good, not great. But sometimes in beach towns that’s all you can ask for. We read reviews and this was within walking distance of our hotel so decided this would be our first stop in town (plus it wasn’t far from the grocery store).

Burger was good, but come on with the pricing. Super slam burger was $16.00 and a side of fries was $7.00. $24.78 for a burger and fries. Fries were over cooked/terrible. If you’re gonna charge $7.00 it should be an enormous quantity of perfect fries. I won’t be eating here at these prices. Burger was good…not great. Danny’s used to be the best in SD. Now they aren’t even in the top 3 in Coronado.

This is a great place to hang out. Service is great. Get your food by 8:00 the kitchen closes promptly at 8. The bar has been open for almost 80 years. Check it out if you’re ever in town.

I was there on the 4th of July, place was not that busy but the bar tender was so rude. I tried to talk to the manager to let her know about my experience and management didn’t seem to care to know. It was my first and last time at this bar.

We love local bars, and Danny’s was a refreshing change from the snootiness of the Coronado. Our bartender Rachel was friendly and helpful. The burgers and FRings were delish and we would happily return, if we didn’t live in Florida. Great spot for a great burger.
