Came here with my family for dinner on Wednesday shortly after they opened. They were not busy, and we had free choosing one where to sit. The nephews wanted to sit at the table with floor seating. The rest of the family, being old, sat at a regular table. We were served water right away, which they provide large glass bottles to pour your own. We were thirsty, and they switched out the empty bottles with cold filled ones. I would say Nepali food is most similar to Indian, but Nepali food is a mixture of Indian, Tibetan, and other Asian cuisine. We ordered Samosas and Mo-Mos (Chicken and yak) for appetizers. For main meals, we ordered Butter Chicken, Chicken Korma, Lamb Korma, Chom Mein, and different naans. The curry comes with rice. Everything was really delicious! Great flavor and a lot of spice (heat and taste). We learned all the cooks are from Nepal, which is cool. There was a lot of food, more than we expected, so we took leftovers home. The place is well decorated, and I like that they have the floor seating to have the traditional seating. Parking is free and shared with the other stores in the small plaza. I would definitely come back, especially how close it is to the house.

First time trying Nepalese food. I’ve seen this restaurant whenever I came to the Ashkar cash & carry but haven’t got to try until now. We ordered goat thali, chicken jhol momo, garlic cilantro naan. All turned out delicious and tasty. We’ll try other dishes next time. Highly recommend.

In the town of limitless options, there are several reasons why this place stand out. One of the things that usually throw me off going to any Nepali or Indian restaurants is their never ending menu. They have fairly smaller menu for Nepali/Indian place. To me, it means they keep things fresh and specialize in things they make best. Everything we had was extremely fresh, which is the 1st and last impression for me. Yak jhol (soup) momo was my favorite. Jhol tasted very authentic with right amount of spices including some key Himalayan spice that gives food a good pungent taste. Momo Wrappers were home made, they were soft and fresh. Goat curry was another delicacy. We also had sang paneer, veggie jhol momo, chicken and paneer chilli, and masala papa for the table. Naan was very soft. Everyone enjoyed the food.

The food was ok and the service was terrible. The images in the menu do not correlate to the plate they bring out to you. The appetizers were really good, that’s why 4 star, my main dish, not so much.

When I first saw the food, I thought the portions looked small for the price, but as soon as I took a bite… Wow! Delicious! We got the garlic naan, shrimp Tikka masala, goat curry, Himalayan wings, and yak chili momo. All of them were packed with flavor.

This place is beautifully decorated and has a very Himalayan and Nepal vibes to it. I liked that they have a very different area to actually sit down with folded legs.

Me and my husband went here after a friend suggested. We tried their veg steamed momos which was very fresh and tasty but the icing on the cake was the Vegetarian Nepali thali and the Chicken Nepali Thali that we tried. What authentic and yummy flavor of varieties we had.
