We are a family diner that seats up to 85 people. We have a front dining area and a back dining area. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. 7am-8pm. We specialize in homemade vegetables, burgers, etc. All food items from the menu are made to order and special, as you request them.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The service was on point and the food was piping hot and tasted great. The fried squash was really good and the Club sandwich, unlike most other clubs in the area, does not have lunch meat, but instead has thick sliced ham and chicken breast. You get a lot for what you pay, as long as you stay away from the Motz sticks. I can really see why this place is as popular as it is. Will be back!

Food was still frozen chicken for the salad was hard as a rock. Couldn’t eat it. Corn dogs were still frozen on the inside. Customer service was even horrible it’s not what it used to be by no means. They also used to sale ice-cream which was nice, coming off the river after a long day. Some ice cream would be refreshing, but no, they don’t serve ice cream anymore. But overall, this place has gone down hill quickly n fast. And the prices for the food are kind of ridiculous considering the food is cold frozen n under cooked.

My son and I stopped here on our way to Hanging Rock. We were instantly greeted by a waitress with a beautiful smile. The food was excellent (especially the fries). My 8 year old son finished all of his food as well. The atmosphere was quiet and comforting

This place is a gem! The hush puppies were delicious and they even have a veggie burger for vegans and vegetarians. The food is affordable too. The staff was so friendly and welcoming to us out of towners 🙂 thank you Dan river family restaurant for being so welcoming (and yummy!)
