The young ladies operating this DQ today were wonderful. This has always been a nicely run establishment- even when the line of cars stretches around the store and into the road. They are always kind, patient, and exemplify what it means to provide a good service. Today, I just felt they needed the recognition that I feel is deserved.

Just REALLY wanted a Butterfinger Blizzard but got a huge cup of vanilla ice cream instead. Thinking this was a one time occurrence, I decided to try again and went back a few weeks later but alas this was not a fluke. I ordered the same Butterfinger Blizzard plus asked for extra Butterfinger and I received another huge cup of vanilla ice cream. Meaning you couldn’t even tell there were toppings in the cup. No sense in complaining because there is another DQ on Rt 94 and they understand the concept of a blizzard.

Traffic flow is poorly laid out. If you park on the right side you’re trapped by drive through lines. Can get insanely crowded. Still, the staff do a good job and they have benches to sit on. ice cream is very good!

The customer service is absolutely horrible. The girl at the window had an attitude. Giving annoyed looks, either racism or she don’t like her job. Work somewhere else, and dq you gotta hire better people. Not going here again. If I could give no stars, I would.

Was ordering ice cream for my family of 5. The girl with short brown hair obviously did not like the way I was ordering the ice cream. Or the terms I was useing. To the point she took my order left the drive though window and made all the other girls finish the order. Ordered two cookie dough blizzards. They put no cookie dough in them. Made a point to put them into go bag and containers to give to us when they didn’t do that to anyone else in the drive-through in front of us. We drove not even a minute to find out it was just wiped vanilla ice cream. As the girls watched us pull back and they all started laughing and surrounding. When my husband walked in to talk about the blizzards they were all laughing and smiling. My husband was furious they kept saying the cookie dough was on the bottom. My husband now very angry because they were laughing poured out all of the ice cream onto the counter to show absolutely no cookie dough. Please check the cameras and see this incident very very upsetting and extremely terrible customer service. We go to dairy queen quite often and we have been to this one over a million times. The owner even came out and said oh I saw cookie dough and we know how to make blizzards, but was nowhere even near the ice cream and defended his workers. But clearly didn’t see them laughing or paid attention to the cameras… Something must be addressed. If I was rude I would have understood. I clearly had a little trouble speaking ordering. And giving me an attitude while I was ordering my food because she didn’t like the way I was talking. Also assumed and made a comment about living in NY. I am truly disgusted and I will let everyone know in Sussex County about this. I have lots of high connections in Sussex county and I will let it be known….

Called to confirm their hours and the girl who answered the phone said they were closing down, even though it was 25 minutes before they were supposed to. I asked if we could still head over that we could be there in 10 minutes and she said no. So apparently they’re not much for customer service. I guess that’s what happens when it’s a bunch of teenagers working, but still disappointing nonetheless. I hope the owner is aware of this behavior since it certainly impacts business.
