I was very impressed with the service. There was a mistake in our order and they fixed it, up sized it, and gave a very heartfelt apology that is usually hard to come by in our society. I wish I would’ve gotten the guys name to thank him properly but I was at Dairy Queen in Kirksville between 4:30pm and 5:00pm thru the drive thru. So if you know who this gentleman was please give him my gratitude. Thank you very much for caring about your customers and taking pride in your work. You are truly a great human being.

On Saturday, May 13, 2023, I stopped by and place my order and the young man working the drive-thru was just the friendliest employee I’ve encountered at any establishment since the pandemic. When I pulled up and talked to him some more, I learned that he had already worked more than eight hours that day, and I couldn’t believe how friendly he was. I even offered him a tip to reward him for his great customer service and attitude; however, he declined the tip. The food and malt were great, too!

My boyfriend and I placed an order online and when we got there, we had to wait for 15 minutes. They weren’t busy, as we were the only ones inside and there were only 2 vehicles in the drive through. The food was sitting on the warmer while we were waiting to be served, and when we got it, the ranch in our chicken strip basket was spilled all over our fries and toast. The lids were deformed and didn’t even fit, which they would have known putting them on and just ignored. On top of that, my blizzard was already melting and dripped onto the floor as he held it upside down. Our fries were cold and soggy and the chicken was hard and dry. The toast in the chicken strip basket had ranch all over it and was therefor soggy. The strawberries in our sundae were frozen solid, as well as the strawberries in my blizzard. There wasn’t a single napkin in the bag. On the plus side, my onion rings were good, as well as the pretzels, however they were only lukewarm. I generally do not write reviews, but there really weren’t any upsides to this order.

A restaurant I’ve visited for over 60 years. During which time I’ve seen food quality go down and prices go way up. About the only thing I buy there now are hot dogs, sundaes and chocolate shakes.

So I ordered a cake door dash from Kansas to have it delivered to my step daughter for her birthday she lives in Kirksville. Well I called to ask if I can have her name out on the cake the lady on the phone was super amazing and she definitely went above and beyond to make sure her cake was perfect even being 400 miles away! I wish I got her name but she was there this morning and she definitely didn’t disappoint and I want her to know how amazing she is and I’m very thankful that she did such an amazing job! So thank you from this step mom and dad that had to be away for the baby’s birthday!

Horrible experience. Long drive through line so went inside – waited 15 minutes after placing order for two blizzards. When we finally got them, there was barely any candy mixed in; waited all that time for basically two cups of soft serve ice cream. Total rip off.
