I went there before it shut down and the service was an absolute disaster. The employees were extremely rude with an lackadaisical attitude. Thankfully in hindsight, they were out of the chicken that I wanted as I’ve heard from others that went there that the chicken was cold and inedible when received.

It is understandable why this place is closed. It is the worst Popeyes in the area. They never had chicken ready when you arrived. The staff was entitled and acted as though you were there to provide them with employment and they were never open. I mean how do you close on a weekend before 5 p.m.?

Seems that the owner of a bunch of Popeyes was very sick and actually died! So of course it caught up in courts to decide what happens to all the closed Alabama stores. So all you lovers of red beans and rice hold on it will be back. Pray for family!

Went to this location at 7:20 and they close at 8 and they said they were out of chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets. They said they were only accepting cash at the window. So we tried to order shrimp combos and chicken fingers and said they were out of chicken fingers too. She kept giving attitude everytime she asked a question. We tried to get sweet tea and they were out. By this point we were frustrated trying to order and gave up. I used to work in a restaurant and I know when it gets close to closing time we used pour out most of the tea and rush cleaning. I don’t know if that was the case tonight but this is the second time in a month they’ve been out of fingers and nuggets around 6 or 7 and very disappointed.

Despite all the bad reviews i decided to give it a try. Service was quick and the man at the window was very nice! You could also see the 93 health score, which i’d say is pretty good. I got the chicken sandwich combo with mash and gravy and added a side of mac and cheese, it was $12 which is a little pricey (for me), but everything is these days. Everything was very delicious! Mac and cheese was cheesy and creamy, gravy was spicy, mashed potatoes were fluffy. My sandwich was crispy and hot, and my drink was yum and full of carbonation!! 10/10!!

I rarely give a negative rating or review! That being said, this was the worst place that I have been in ! In the last 20 years! I was told to wait 20 mins for my order for the chicken to cook! The lady behind the counter gave the food I waited on to her male friend that had just walked in and ordered then looked at me and said it would be 15 to 20 more minutes. They were rude and hateful! I will never step foot into another Popeyes anywhere! I eat out a lot and always buy for my children 30 to $50 a pop! I will choose Jacks or KFC over Popeyes anytime.

Orders are consistently wrong, they close early because they can’t keep help. Have to use the drive through, can’t eat in most of the time. Popeyes is having some major problems at the Moody location.
