Waited for 20 minutes in the drive through. At least 10 at the speaker waiting to give my order. I asked if everything was okay and was treated rudely by the lady inside. I am pretty sure she was the only worker.

The ice cream is about what you would expect from a normal Dairy Queen, but the service is quite slow. I’ve made two visits in the last month and have decided to commit to the 5 to 6 car drive-thru line. Both visits I’ve waited in excess of 25 minutes for them to fulfill the orders. This location just is not prepared to handle the customer volume in the evenings. If you see more than 2 cars in line, I would keep driving.

Take the time to drive to the next, This is the worst DQ ever. Horrible service, was in the drive thru over 20 mins. No greeting at the speaker box, I sat a minute or two before saying HELLO, Nothing. I had a guy yelling behind me in the drive thru because my order wasn’t being taken finally come on to take my order and staff isn’t friendly. They don’t value customers and it shows. I normally drive further to a different one but my kid wanted a blizzard after practice and I didn’t want to go out of the way. I learned again why I take the time to go to the other.

If I could give zero stars I would. We were in line for ice cream at 7:30pm at night. We get up there and no one greeted us or said please one moment we will be with you. 5 minutes later someone said we will be with you in a minute. A couple minutes later comes on and days we’re closed. There was 5 plus cars behind me. Terrible service. Wish there was another ice cream shop in town. Guess I’ll go to Champaign from now on rather than give my business to a undeserving company.

Best one we’ve been to. We thought we found the best one when we first moved over to Champaign, but this ice is truly the best one! Every fry was fresh! My sandwich, piled high, not one leaf of luttuce was smashed, the tomato was whole and thick! The sandwich wasn’t smashed one bit! We will be regulars here!

If there were 0 stars available, I would have picked that!!!! Hands down the worst DQ. Never open. I understand it’s hard to find workers, but I’ve heard (and experienced first-hand) the owners are awful. I’m not surprised no one wants to work for them! They need to sell this DQ to new owners. I really can’t believe DQ corporate hasn’t done anything about this location———it gives the whole company a bad reputation! I feel bad for the one worker they DO have!

Decent place to grab a fast food meal if you’re looking for standard American fare: burgers, hot dogs, fries, ice cream, and the like. Orders have been accurate and the food hot. This particular location seems to suffer perpetual understaffing particularly for the active location it’s in, leading to some long wait times. The staff that is there have always been friendly, so it’s still our go to place when we’re looking for a frozen treat.

Average service, don’t go through the drive thru in the summer if your in a hurry or your going to wait at least 10 minutes. I don’t feel that’s the restaurant’s fault the lines are just ridiculously long in the summer. They don’t honor the Dairy Queen App deals at this location.

Forget standard courtesty or even the bare minimum decency you would offer a stranger on the street. Every single time I have gone Ive been met with an unfriendly staff, borderline hostile. Any request for information on food is treated with irritation and exasperation. Common courtesies like please and thank you, or even greetings of “hello” and “how are you?” aren’t just not reciprocated, they’re completely ignored. The worst part is that this isn’t the result of a single staff member or other employee, the very worst interactions have been with the owner himself. He runs the register at times and is not just rude from a lack of common courtesy, but is actively aggresive and hostile to customers. Every time I vow to never return, but several times I’ve had no choice but to grab quick food for my children and each time I’m curious if my experience might be different. But it never is. The owner knows the options for fast food are limited in the immediate area and feels no compulsion to treat customers with anything but contempt since he knows they will likely return anyway.

Hot food wasn’t hot. Shorted me on the ice cream. **not their fault but really irritating – barely could fit through the drive-thru, minivans sitting 8 feet from next vehicle, honked at by SUV for trying to straighten out my truck but I was no where near hitting theirs. ***Never had these problems at ANY other DQ.
