I care for my special needs brother in law who is also elderly. I asked for a medium shake in a large cup so he didn’t spill it. I was told, after they gave us the wrong flavor shake, then the correct flavor in the wrong size cup, they couldn’t accommodate his needs because of resources. When I said he was special needs the man said he had cancer and they don’t accomodate him. That’s not an excuse. Edit- I called and talked to the manager. She was very polite and said absolutely my brother in law’s special needs will be met every time. She was going to talk to the person who was nasty and tell him exactly that. I added a star to reflect this.

Service here can be slow at times…. Sometimes ridiculously slow. I understand that they are short staffed (like everywhere) and that is what accounts for it I’m sure. That being said, I usually order ahead on the mobile app and pick it up through the drive through. The food is always good and hot and the ice cream is not melty. All around good experience considering what is going on in the fast food industry these days.

Hit drive-through around 6pm for a couple blizzards. With only 3 cars in front of me I envisioned a quick trip. Nearly 20 minutes later I wad able to pay and then told to proceed to the first waiting line spot. Another 5 minutes goes by and the worker runs out two blizzards one of which was so melted it was running down the sides. No apology for the long wait, no real greeting of any kind. Highly disappointed in my experience and guess ill just have to pick up my snacks in sioux falls from now on instead of supporting local business owner

Don’t know what the other reviewers are on about. The teenagers on staff did a great job at asking questions about my order and clarifying while taking my order. Food came out hot and fresh. Staff were wiping down tables as we ate. The new location is very spacious and pretty! And the fries were salted the right way!!

Ever since this location has been opened, there has been nothing but issues. The employees have not been helpful or had good customer service ever. Tonight we walked in and they had multiple excuses as to why they couldn’t take our orders. First it was because the person at the till wasn’t on the clock, then it was the system rebooted and we needed to wait a few minutes. Then a minute or two later they said they couldn’t take our order at all. While this was all happening, every employee was wandering around in the back, ignoring drive thru customers and the others in the dining room. Also, many of the employees are eating. When we asked for the managers info, they refused to relay the info to us. Claimed they were not allowed to give us the managers contact information. It’s really unfortunate since Brandon doesn’t have many options for food, and we were all super excited to have a DQ again, but it has been an AWFUL experience since they opened up not even a whole YEAR ago. Someone needs to come in and whip this place into shape or they will be going out of business, once again.

The menu on the DQ website for the Brandon, SD location indicates they have Orange Julius. Upon ordering, I was informed that they’ve “discontinued the Orange Julius franchise”. Google search indicates that happened in April, so in three months they couldn’t take it off the menu? Items that are dropped should be removed from the online menu the day they become unavailable.

This DQ has always disappointed when we’ve gone. Been there about a 7 times and always seem to have some issue, won’t take coupon, bad/wrong food, poor service, extremely long waits. So disappointed with the new addition to Brandon, it could have been a real addition to the town. Maybe some new (more mature) employees and management would help.

They are constantly out of product so half the items can’t be made. The staff is extremely extremely slow! There is no supervision whatsoever. Hate to say it but todays youth can’t handle running a store. There needs to be an adult. We even saw a car in front of us honking at the window they were waiting so long. Come on DQ, do better.

I stopped in at 130p and picked out a cake for my nephews 16th birthday. I wrote down the name and details of what it should say for the cashier. Someone came out, grabbed the cake and clarified the information. I said I’d be back before 5p to pick it up. I got there at 530p and the cake hadn’t been touched. I have a 45 minute drive to his party at 630. Aka 15 mins to spare. I’m told by the cashier that they’re too busy right now, it’ll be 45 minutes until they can do it. So I left with a blank cake. For his 16th birthday. What a joke. They had 4 hours to write 3 words?!?

The food was okay, kids cheeseburger was smothered in ketchup, my onion rings had 4 rings total, my blizzard almost fell on the floor when the guy flipped it, and the floor is absolutely disgusting
