I love places like this. Food is unique Ave delicious and the portions are plenty big. I ate about half of my order. The woman serving was so pleasant and had the biggest infectious smile. I’m visiting from out of town but I would definitely return if I’m ever in the Roanoke area again.

These folks know how to cook! I been down in my soul and they fed me and brought me back into myself. Who knew all I needed was a little soul food! Great staff, good price and quantity. Pate kode is fire as well as all the entrees and great exotic drink options. If you need flavor, go see them, of you need to feel like you’re at home, go see them, if you need your soul back, go see em.

Drove by and saw the sign and stopped in for a late lunch. Food was great. Nice portions and delicious. Friendly people. Glad I happened to notice the sign. I’m still full from my 1pm lunch at 6pm. We tried fried chicken and oxtail, pink potato salad, rice, plantains, and bean sauce. Also the hot slaw. Tried the watermelon drink and akassan(?) Corn based vanilla drink.
