I really love the vibes and music. The staff was very nice. The food is just alright though. I kinda had higher expectation. My salad was good but I found one strand of hair in it. Lost my appetite right then. Burrito needs a bit more spiciness, in my opinion. The sauce tasted just like spaghetti sauce. And the meat was a bit too salty. The only thing I liked a lot was piña colada! Very creamy and refreshing!

Fast and friendly service. Very clean restaurant. Got our lunches within 5 minutes of ordering. Prices are very reasonable. Servings are generous. And the taste, everything is good, at least what we ordered. 5$ lunch specials that is way better than 5$ specials anywhere else I have been. Tuesday and Thursday 2 for 1 drink specials on house margaritas after 5pm.

This was some of the worst Mexican food we’ve ever had. Streak tacos had no flavor whatsoever – did they forget the seasoning? Even a bland palate child thought they were bad. Beans looked like they came directly from a can, and the rice – maybe some orange food coloring was added to white rice? Tortilla chips tasted not only stale, but rancid. Two stars only because the servers were hustling and kind for a carryout order, considering they were waiting tables too. Took well over an hour for this single taco meal, despite the site saying 40 minutes. Maybe because they were shockingly busy? (Other higher rates Mexican restaurants were closed this Sunday night.) Will drive the extra 10 minutes to A-Rods next time.

Super great family restaurant. I’d never been until today. The staff was wonderful and made a vegetarian dish just for me. Excellent home cooked food. I was quite happy!

Some of the best Mexican food on the east side. The margaritas are strong and the food is incredible. I thoroughly enjoy coming to Cuco’s any chance I get. The service is prompt and the staff is very friendly. I enjoy the music selection too. You won’t be disappointed here trust! Family friendly, able to handle your girls night/bachelorette party, and the perfect date night. Just check them out and see for yourself

The service was excellent! The chicken in my quesadilla was very dry. Everything else tasted great, except for that. That was a rather big deal, too, because the dry chicken made me feel more thirsty than normal. I loved the paintings on the booths. The atmosphere was pleasant. People weren’t super loud and the booths enclosed you in a way that sort of drowned out the noise coming from other folks. That was nice. The staff said goodbye to us when we were finished. What a friendly restaurant, despite the dry chicken.

Went here for lunch one day on the weekend. Had the paradillia for one. It came with ribs, steak, shrimp, chicken, chorizo, cactus, potatoes, onions and a whole plate of beans, rice, guacamole. It was AMAZING! It is enough food to easily feed 2-3 people! Taste was delicious! I would 100% recommend coming here! I will definitely be coming back!!

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Madison! Everything we ordered was fantastic with special mention of the queso fundido (has chorizo!) and the massive torta sandwich.

It was our first time at Cuco’s. Since moving to Madison about a year ago, we have been looking for a great restaurant that had Mexican food for a while. Many in the area are good. But, this was very familiar to us. It reminded us of a restaurant that we have missed since moving here.
