The table was sticky / dirty when we sat down. The margaritas and guacamole were good as well as the chips. However the tacos were not good. The ranchero enchiladas were good. The service was friendly but rather slow.

Food was okay, nothing special compared to other restaurants in town. The thing that threw me off every time I visited was the lack of service. The women were rude and spent time flirting with friends and texting on their phones instead of helping guests. Won’t be returning.

Great local place with great Mexican food. We love the Enchilada Supreme. You get a lot for your money and it’s really fast service. The chips and salsa is also excellent.

Nothing special. Food was good and service was average. You do get chips and dip for free now. It was slow the day we came so can’t say anything about the atmosphere.

First visit to Cuco’s Mexican Restaurant in Waunakee. Not too busy when we arrived, greeted by friendly server and seated right away. Ordered a couple of house margarita’s, although they were tasty they are small. Asked if we would like some salsa and chips, “sure” we responded – only to find that we were charged for them on our bill. I tried the Pollo Fundido and “she” had the shrimp chimichangas – our meals were good but not great. I never like to judge the quality of the food and the quality of the experience by the amount of the bill, but in this case I have to say the food quality doesn’t match the $65 spent for two with a couple of margaritas…and chips and salsa and extra sour cream. With all that said, our server was friendly and attentive, food was average, and experience was average at best. I think they can do better.
