I came here about 30 minutes before they closed and the guy at the window was just genuinely kind and had a smile on his face. They got me set up with oxtails, rice and gravy, yams, and collard greens. I’m from Louisiana, I also just so happen to be a Creole mami and I must say I was very impressed!!! The oxtails tasted like my mama’s, that ole chicken beef bouillon cube; every seasoning in the cabinet crock pot meat that I absolutely love. I was skeptical about the collards but they delivered as well, very fresh and well seasoned with hints of spiciness which was unique to me and pleasant because i love a mild kick at the end of something, you can never go wrong with that. The rice soaked up the gravy very well so that was great too, no drippy mess, and the yams were sweet and delicious. I will be coming back, I really enjoyed everything!! Thanks guys❤️.

Creole Flava has a secret ingredient they put in their food called ‘LOVE’ …because it put me in a Food Coma!!!! I had Oxtails, MacNCheese, RedBeans, dirty rice… the meal came with a side of Favor in the Lord… because when I ate the food, I knew I was blessed! I swear, when I washed it down with their Red TROPICAL Punch Koolaid, the Lord told me, “feel like Heaven, don’t it!” ….then my 2nd time going there, tell me why I saw Jesus in line?! He was eating the cornbread like it was communion! Amen!!!!!

They are always pleasant and easy going. Every time I order something it’s good. I love the oxtails and I enjoy the pork chop plate with the greens and Mac and cheese as well. Tonight I’m having the smothered chicken and it’s amazing. I love this place. Never change ♥️

Simply divine. Try the spicy grilled fish with shrimp etoufee with sausage. Oxtail is great and tender; you can eat it one handed with a fork and write a review in the other. Kool aid is legendary, clearly different than standard kool aid. Dirty rice is nice, not too strong but the perfect base for oxtail or any other meats. Corn bread is moist and crumbly; eat carefully if in your car. Will return for sure

I got really excited about this place after reading all the five star reviews. It was definitely a let down. The food was OK at best. Wasn’t nasty or anything but all the 5 star reviews definitely hyped this place for nothing. I have no desire to eat there again. We had oxtails and an order of the Parmesan fries. Not good at all and I love oxtails. I do wish this place success though! Just an honest review for potential customers.
